  • As you may noticed, the price of the item does not reflect the real value of the product and we are required by law to cancel

So according to pixmania it is illegal to sell things below their 'real value'?! (whatever the hell that is)

Perhaps they meant permitted, rather than required.
  • Friends they cant make 2 mistake for one item clearly say %85 OFF LIMITED TIME OFFER £199 if they just advertised with £199 then you can say by mistake.they did this only for bad publicity otherwise nothing else.already too many buyers reported this to consumer direct , watchdog ,and trading & standards ,

You don't think retail websites are hand made do you?
The majority of their website will be generated automatically by collating some page layouts with a stock database.

    OK, so noone has answered.

Can someone prove to me that the Paypal was transferred to Pixmania?

Everyone keeps saying that they paid and the money was taken out of their Paypal account but as I keep pointing out, Paypal are a 3rd party.

When someone pays by Paypal, Paypal automatically take the money out of the account. They then hold it until (wait for it....)

Pixmania accept the money. Until this point, the money is held by Paypal.

IF paypal held the money you would have received a notification that Pixmania needed to authorise this transaction to receive the funds. But that was not the case. I did say this before.

I got screenshots of the product page with the 85% off and £199 pricing, terms and conditions at the time of ordering and order confirmation. Just in case.

Lock the thread and all you losers get a life, this was like entering the lottery at £199 per ticket if you won you get a tv but if you lose you get your money back, sounds like a good gamble to me

Move on and wait for the next lottery

    so well said

I honestly think the person who sent me that email was not from the UK.

Also can people please stop being so negative and saying 'losers' etc. If you don't like the thread, get out.

I wonder how many of those silly loyalty cards they sold on the back of this?!

It says the entire order has been cancelled, thus I'm expecting a refund on the loyalty card too...

I was going to add some stuff onto my order I needed.

    Glad I didn't.

Still don't know why people are moaning though.

    It was a marketing stunt.
