Loss of bargain? Where's Tom? Pocoyo? Help!

I ordered one (it has been cancelled like everyone else's). Loss of Bargain is a provision under UK law; I confess I have no idea how that would play with a trader in France.

I don't think Tom's along this week but I'm sure he'll give his view on this when he returns.

    What is loss of bargain?
    Not Again
  • Lock the thread and all you losers get a life, this was like entering the lottery at £199 per ticket if you won you get a tv but if you lose you get your money back, sounds like a good gamble to me

Move on and wait for the next lottery

Personally this looks like a goer a because web terms state contract has been formed and b irrespective of vile pricing emails have confirmed order has been verified. Note their email deflects your rights meaning they are on the defensive. Los bargain is best fought as one on one. Any use of class action could give them the argument that net of commission to a lawyer you wouldn't be able tp go out and buy the tv with the net proceeds. Go for it or perhaps let someone test the water legally with only 60 quid at stake. Also one class action is easy to defend but lots dotted around the uk far harder

  • Friends they cant make 2 mistake for one item clearly say %85 OFF LIMITED TIME OFFER £199 if they just advertised with £199 then you can say by mistake.they did this only for bad publicity otherwise nothing else.already too many buyers reported this to consumer direct , watchdog ,and trading & standards ,
