I would recommend everyone who got their order cancelled to call Consumer Direct or Trading Standards (08454040506) to complain. The more that have done this, the more likely action will be taken against Pixmania, we need to stand together and fight for our rights :j :T

My money is on hold in paypal now that it has been refunded but its still showing as validated online. Odd.

Knowing my luck if i had sat here and said - i aint gonna waste my time- they wont send them.

They'd have honoured the price and i'd have been kicking myself.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Yes phone them and complain that pixmania should honor a really obvious misprice and bust themselves over it. Good plan.

Worth a punt. Didn't work out. Was unlikely that it would.

Life goes on. Albeit life with a slightly smaller telly.

Probably won't lose too much sleep over it.

I ordered a TV in the M&S glitch waited 2mths for it to be delivered.
Then received email out of stock.
As they say you win some, you lose some.

Thank you both very much:A:A My birthday as in Wednesday but it was already today (iyswim:D).

Doesn't look as if I'm getting a TV though - had an email to say they weren't honouring the typing error:( Ah well, was bound to be too good to be true:)

    Thanks again.

Those that have made payment by Paypal or Card & have since been refunded are quite right to be a little annoyed if they want the TV.

This is one of the rare occasions where the consumer should win & the retailer should lose out.

    Payment is the contract

I think you should check that matey... If things are an obvious error retailers can and do fairly often cancel and refund.

I love a good misprice thread. the ups and downs and the fools really thinking they will get their TV in the end. even if it takes going to court.

I think we all should appreciate the bargains we've had from this site.
We win some we lose some.
At least were at home & looking for bargains unlike some.
  • If i'd have posted on this thread last night I would of been the 2nd post.
I knew it was a complete waste of time so I didn't bother ordering.
Apparently as the company is based in France the stock would of been Europe manufactured, coupled that with me not knowing the laws in France I could of been just putting money into somebodys bank account and be waiting a while for the refund.
If the OP would of not posted this they may have received their TV.
  • I cant tell you the amount of things ive got for practically nothing on these threads!

When this one went up i was relatively hopeful ppl might get one. No-ones been stupid thinking there might have been a chance and i know that from previous experience.

M & S Laptop: I got one for £420. Cheapest price on web is over £700.

Anthony Worrel Thomson Pan Set: Won for £1 yesterday! RRP £200 (although £80 more realistic on other sites!)

Woolworths: £5 4pc steel swan toaster. RRP £30

Countless things for free on very.co.uk

If all these things have been sold for tuppence then i dont see why this couldnt have had the chance!

The whole point of these threads is that we all find and share these things and fairly often come out on tops!

Sorry to those that are being hounded by these two idiots!

I do however, notice that theyre only commenting now its been confirmed these are not available at this price, and werent saying these things last night!
