Just looking at this on there site ( Ordering
There are 4 different ways of placing an order:
- by Internet on our website: (24 hours a day and 7 days a week)
- by e-mail:
- by telephone on 0844 369 0372 (calls charged at a local rate when using a landline phone)- by post with a printout of your order and payment method to: Pixmania, Customer Service Department, 43-47 Avenue de la Grande Arm!e - 75217 Cedex Paris 16 - France - fax n° +33 170 807 207. We will send you confirmation by e-mail that we have received your order.
The ordering process consists of four (4) easy steps. Once you have chosen the products you would like to buy and have confirmed your basket, you must: - log in; - choose your delivery method;
- accept the general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the box reserved to this effect on the order summary page (entitled « Order summary »);
- select your method of payment.
Once you have chosen your method of payment, you must pay for your order, which legally finalises the purchase agreement made with Pixmania.
And then this the last bit ( The prices indicated on the Site are in Pounds Sterling and in Euros and include all taxes but do not include delivery.The chosen possible delivery costs are indicated for the User during the product selection and are invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the products. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but will apply the current rates as indicated to you on the site at the time the order was placed.0 -

I'm starting to feel left out... where's my cancellation order? Payment was taken last night (paypal, not from account which can take days, but directly from the card) so I hope they're not gonna be too late in refunding the money (even though I'd more like the telly. lol! If it had gone through it would have made a lovely birthday pressie for myself).0

Just because if they fulfilled all the orders they would go out of business and all the staff would lose their jobs, why should I care? they're only Johnny foreigners after all.I see no reason why they all shouldnt pay for a pricing mistake with at least their houses, and I would go as far as selling their children into slavery (good prices being fetched at the moment) I bet they are laughing down their huge Gaellic noses at us right now! I'm sure none of us have made any mistakes in our lives(I know I havent) As we are in the depths of a general election I'm going to vote for any party willing to send in the SAS to rescue our TV's from the frogs. Who's with me? failing that,I've challenged the directors of Pixmania to a duel to the death with french sticks in Calais at dawn!(as long as I can get my bleeding satnav to work).Vive la Revolution!
Just to be clear though Pixmania are actually British owned (DSGI) and I don't think they will go bust if they honour this offer with what ever stock they have and maybe the adverse publicity would cost them more than the cost of honouring (certainly those who only ordered one like other companys have and cancelling those who ordered more than 1).
It's a judgement call for them to make.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
No cancellation e-mail still, but I checked my paypal account and have gotten the money refunded. Nothing lost, nothing gained, apart from a little bit of fun.0

I think you seem to have missed these areas: Commercial / e-commerce
No not at all. Neither of these areas are consumer related - if you read the descriptions they relate to organisations, new commercial deals, defending commercial litigation, ensuring websites are compliant etc. All appears in favour of the company not the individual - they are hardly Claims Direct!!0 -
People just join the group, its only a click and you never know what the outcome woudl be. Yuo spend more time filling in the dam forms to get the TV, so just join and let it grow.0

OK, so noone has answered.
Can someone prove to me that the Paypal was transferred to Pixmania?
Everyone keeps saying that they paid and the money was taken out of their Paypal account but as I keep pointing out, Paypal are a 3rd party.
When someone pays by Paypal, Paypal automatically take the money out of the account. They then hold it until (wait for it....)
Pixmania accept the money. Until this point, the money is held by Paypal.
The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
