    Good morning!

Another nice day here so far. It must have rained earlier, because the garden bench is wet, but blue sky now.
I've had to re-think what I can realistically manage to do today, so here's my revised list for today:

    1 or 2 HHCs in DS1's room
continue to feed WM (x4?) and TD/put some outside if possible
    tidy/hoover LR and kitchen
put clean clothes away/in ironing basket
iron stuff for tomorrow if necessary
    pack bags
    HW with DS2
    cook gammon joint for tea
    plant strawberries and beans
WORK STUFF - marking and planning
shopping for underbed boxes for DS1's room/stuff to treat new bench
go to tip/Mr A (for plastic recycling)

Help - DS2 (almost 6) is normally very independent, but for a few days now he's been following me around like a puppy. He won't go/stay upstairs on his own in the evenings, even to go to the loo or to start getting ready for bed. Not sure how to deal with it, as he's never been really clingy.

Happy birthday, G&B. Hope you have a lovely day.

Breakfast, then DS1's room, I think.

Ok...I admit it, I'm just overwhelmed again. Despite my best efforts, not much seems to be shifting, there are simply piles of clothes (washed and folded mind) everywhere...there's only 4 of us, its ridiculous.

There doesn't seem to be any room or space, I have to step over or round stuff everywhere.

I think I may just have to have a ruthless binbag mission and copy Piggers and cut my losses and give it all to the charity shop. I can't cope with looking at it all and I can't get near anything to even consider decorating.

    Sigh.

    Sorry to winge.

    Happy Birthday gunsandbangos :) - I love that name,lol!
    Well good morning all :)
Here is my list for today and I will try to start going by the flylady list on here this week - sometimes though I have got to try and get on with the immediate stuff I need to do :) To be honest my house is such a blinkin tip I really don't know where to start sometimes but figure if I do something - whatever it is, it's a start :) (Little tiny cracks can make big holes so a start is a good start whatever it is) :D

    Ok list :)

    [STRIKE]Feed kids breakfast[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Feed dogs and cat[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Put washing on[/STRIKE]
    Dishes
    Cook beef, mmm :)
    De-clutter cold room
    De-clutter breakfast bar
    De-clutter piano (still)!
    De-clutter welsh dresser (again)!
    Dry clothes
    Iron clothes
    Shower
    Visit in-laws
Watch film with kids - (not a chore I know but important) :D
Oh yes - and cook dinner :)

Not a lot on here I know but if I get this lot done I will add more :)

Hope you all have a fab Sunday :)

Sounds like you need some help. Could you get your DDs to take responsibility for ebaying their own stuff - that way they could keep the money and it might mean you have to subsidise them less. You could even get them to ebay your stuff for a percentage. And it sounds like you also need to have a chat about sharing the burden as you clearly aren't well enough to do everything yourself.

I know you were clearing your bedroom to try to give yourself some uncluttered space. Have you managed that yet? If so, go and spend a bit of time there dusting and titivating it or whatever and reminding yourself how nice it is. If not, go in there and ruthlessly bag or box up everything you don't want in there, and label it either to go (tip/charity/ebay) or with the room it SHOULD be in. And then keep it nice.

However bad the rest of the house gets, I try to keep my bedroom clear so I don't have clutter around me at the beginning and end of the day.

Off for a shower now, and then I might manage to get dressed!

    Hi Triker :)
I warmly welcome you to visit my house - I promise you once you've seen it you will feel pure relief! I can't imagine anyone's worse than mine right now - I even have ceiling on the floor!!
This forum is so supportive though hun and it is taking me minute baby steps and there are plenty of days I just feel I have achieved absolutely nothing but just one little thing can make a big difference :) I de-cluttered my welsh dresser the other day and amongst my clutter in my kitchen my sister spotted my welsh dresser and said how lovely it looked :) (I have to do it again mind, lol but this time it will only take me two minutes because just a couple of things have been dumped on there - I'm doing it before it gets worse, lol)!
My point is that just a little bit at a time - you won't see the difference straight away and out of nowhere you start noticing things getting easier - it's fab :) And everyone is here for each other on here :)
    Hope that helps love :)
