Hi the HHC went over a bit.

Good news, finally managed to find my DVLA doc and hubby sorned it online so thankfully thats done.

Also finally....again, completed my uni forms, only a bluddy week late but hey they're completed and just need posting which I'll do in a mo.:j

Hubby has found hubba bubba chewing gum paper in the printer hence it not working despite our best efforts...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: I'm really really cheesed off, he took it apart as much as he could but there'e obviously something still stuck as the paper feed won't draw the paper through.

Both DD's have had a very strong telling off about their actions, one of them threw it in the general direction of the printer and I've been trying to fix it for months. There's over £50 worth of ink too, just so fed up.

Anyway, few bags of rubbish gone, off to post my letters and then I'll tackle the bedroom. It did get decluttered but everything went topsy turvy when we had the windows done and I haven't actually put the furntiture back properly, which doesn't help.

Dunno if AF is lurking...maybe, who know's I never know when she's supposed to appear...THAT'S how disorganised I am.:(

I forgot to add, hubby also did the dishwasher and found spoons, knives and chips , in the bottom, they were preventing the wash arm from going round....the DW is supposed to be done by the girls but yet again due to their indifference to anything that requires some checking, it's been left until he checked it. I accept that my 13 year old might not check but the 17 year old....

They are supposed to thoroughly scrape the plates too. Maybe I've been too laid back re my attitude to jobs and their responsibilities or maybe they just think we (myself and hubby) will sort, fix or replace everything from the magic never-ending money tree.

    Bathroom done.

Expecting DS2 back from football anytime now.

Time to sort out lunch. Rain has stopped but the sun hasn't reappeared.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Triker hugs, you can't police everything they do, they are old enough to be responsible and if you've been ill, you can't do all the things.

can you withold pocket money or freedom?

lunch decluttered, may try to get in the garden as its stopped raining.

Off to Berkshire next weekend. Right by the OKA shop at sunningdale, can anyone recommend anything good round there?

ooooooooooh Triker - that cake - look at all those flakes!!!!! you are naughty making me drool like that!:rotfl:
now honey stop apologising for wingeing - you are not wingeing! first (((hugs))) xx - what you need to concentrate on today is your bedroom , then youur bedroom then after that your bedroom - get the picture :rotfl: by all means make a list but only for your bedroom - Greenbee gave you great advice - forget the rest of the house and clear out everything that doesnt belong in your bedroom. spend any spare time you have getting your haven properly done. i agree with the others its high time the girls helped you - not just because of your illness - they are old enough. And "no" Mum and Dad are not endless money pits so they need to do jobs properly. IMHO there should be more joint efforts like after tea the kitchen should be spotless if everyone helped?
Maybe you do need to charity shop some stuff - if the clean clothes are waiting to be put away then just put them in the right room and let the owner do it - if its ironing then make one pile - if its ebay then put it aside and promise yourself to concentrate on it for a whiole week and then whats left charity shop

methe kids well done for working out something that suits you and your condition - that sounded like a really good appointment - I hope they finally get things sorted for you - more painfree days and good sleep vibes for you.
Aunty WTG you - I had already given you the star cos i knew you would do it xx

been to church, had lunch, caught up here and now i am going to sort out washing first then ebay

it was pouring when i went out but seems to be trying to clear.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

How about a nice 14 mile walk with a fellow flylady :D:p:p

... on a more sensible note, what kind of thing are you looking for?

Downstairs floors hoovered and washed. Lunch eaten (well part of it anyway).

I might just check the list and see whether I can cross anything off. Then I guess I'd better hoover the upstairs floors, so I can empty the dyson and wash the filters (this is VERY overdue) and do a bit more tidying in the kitchen before my friend arrives

Well if you're going to basingstoke (not sure why you'd want to...:p) and want to meet up let me know...

Lots of lovely walking in the area - windsor great park is probably your best bet if you've got DD2 in tow. You could have a picnic lunch there. And there's always legoland...
