Kitchen man turned up last night at 9.30:eek: he and his wife where up but it was really only to let me know that he would be up some evening this week.

Toots i'm glad your pleased with what you got done.
jinky big hugs. Hope your ok.

I pulled the tape of the skirting boards last night but managed to take some skirting with me so that will have to be sorted today as well as some touch ups.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all

2nd cuppa and breakfast finished, so I've got to make a move. 2 hours of jobs, then DS2 and I are going into town. There's a continental market today and we want to go for a look around. Also need to call at Aldi on the way home. Best check bank balance and supermarket special offers before we head out, because there's also a Mr T on the way back home and a Netto on the way into town. We may be gone some time, but should be able to stock up a bit.

My strawberry plants arrived yesterday and the runner beans are growing like mad, so I need to fit some gardening in, too. And I must sort transport for the playhouse.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Toots - I hope you get some sun today, well done for all you achieved

Jinks - hugs hun, not been a great year for you so far but hope today is a step towards better times

Mumto5 thinking of you and hope your DD is better now

    Plan:
Flying - hoover stairs and upstairs, clean bathroom
Gardening - planting out at the front, emptying cold frame, seed sorting
Town - bank, return, food shop
Off out to cafe rouge with tesco vouchers tonight and hope to do a geocache nearby.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • too late for the HHC at 8.30 - anyone join me at 9ish for one?

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
