    Evening all

So glad it's the weekend, but it's going to be a busy one. DS1 is off on his DofE expedition and DS2 enjoyed his friend's party after school. :j We got back just before 7pm and after sorting tea I struggled to get going. Definitely not up for HHCs now.
Finally found a way to get motivated: I put a longish youtube clip on and try to complete a task before it finishes. I just collected a huge amount of stuff for recycling from the pit that goes for DS1's room, and a few bits from the kitchen. I don't always get to listen to the music if I'm not doing something in the LR, but hey, at least I'm doing something useful. Best carry on and strike while the iron is hot...

and suncream:eek: thats not fair - its pouring here and just above zero i think:eek:
    pooh
you are making me jealous too being able to be outside - we had sleet this afternoon
No sleet here but heavy cloud, drizzle and cold.

when Maria the cleaner came at 2 she did her usual things and then I got her to help me sort out a couple of things in the bedroom - it turned in to a mammoth job

we cleraed the top of the wardrobe and put back other stuff that isnt needed so often
we emptied the shelves and re-stacked with christmas presies, handbags, hats and scarves, spare toiletries, etc etc all nice and neat in my Ikea boxes and baskets.
    we filled the blanket chest
we emptied a box stool and it was re-filled
we stuffed a duvet onto the bedsettee
we emptied a linen basket that was full of ebay wrapping stuff and that is now stored in the hall cupboard
my lappy now has a table
    etc etc etc

then when she went i realised I hadnt wrapped a sale and it had to go today - so off I went with the big box to the PO and popped onto Mr T's and got something for my tea - I was only in the door 5 mins when my carer appeared!!!

Both Maria and I were jiggered - we did too much but I am pleased with what we did!!!

    toots xx
    :eek::eek::eek::eek:
Wall I am glad you are pleased with the result, but that does not mean you should have done it :naughty:

    Evening all,

I don't think i've done anything else i can cross off my list. I want to get Ds2's room done as quickly as possible tomorrow so we can enjoy the sunshine. It'll rain now i've said that.:o Tea was an interesting concoction as i've run out of almost everything. We had chicken breast diced with some garlic, mushrooms and peppers with supernoodles mixed in. It was actually quite tasty, probably due to the flavour sachets and Ds1 said it was really nice. I've done an online shop to come tomorrow so we shall be able to eat. I think we're going for a walk to the old bomb shelter if i can remember the way, i haven't been since i was a teenager. There's talk of a BBQ as well at some point over the weekend but something always goes wrong when we plan one so we'll see.

Hello everyone - just popping on to say hello and goodnight at this unearthly hour!
Well I did the usual - fed children and animals but also de-cluttered my desk, de-cluttered table, tidied living room, hoovered living room and cleaned bathroom before having a lovely couple of hours with a couple of friends :) Doesn't sound a lot and it probably isn't but I was pleased with myself nonetheless :D
Hope everyone is okay and nighty nite all :)
    Nos da, brightest blessings :)
