    Hello all :)

Well I went to GPs, got some sort of infection she's not sure what but given me ABs to see if it's bacterial, got blood tests next week to see if my liver is causing some of this prolonged illness stuff. Anyway thanks for the thoughts and hugs, went ok ish. Not a great deal done today but the crap that has built up in the house has been decluttered to the garage where necessary so easier to get around in here.

Pigpen while I remember I was talking to some parents from Hull at the conference I did, what we're doing in Durham is being done....well ish (in their way) in Hull, http://www.hullcc.gov.uk/pls/portal/docs/PAGE/HOME/CHILDREN_AND_YOUNG_PEOPLE_YP/YP_NEWS/AIM%20HIGHER%20FINAL%20PDF.PDF has a link to the parent forum contact :) incase you want more info.

Triker, been thinking of you, pleased you managed to get some more chookies

I've made a small start on my assignment but I feel so very tired, DS1s actually gone to sleep....I think, he's very quiet, so I might sneak to bed sooner rather than later after I sort the DW, WM and TD out. Got a meeting tomorrow I could do without having to attend to be honest but important so I best go, ***grumps***

OH FLAGS OUT!!!! WIL WENT BACK TODAY!!! :D
One day I might be more organised...........

re midwives, mine incidently was absolutely lovely...i had two. I was a traveller who initially lived in a tent then a truck, eventually a caravan. Nothing phased her, my care was amazing, she brought her wellies to the site every visit and was defensive re my care with some more narrow minded health professionals. She was joined by her student who also was amazing, kind, informative and attentive.

When the time came, i had 27 hours of labour after weeks of intense braxton hicks....and the result a 9lb baby [strike]lump[/strike] girl :d.
They negotiated on my behalf that i could stay in hospital for 5 days so i had use of the toilets....bliss...and showers. :happylove

i have never forgotton just how supportive and brilliant they both were, if there was ever a time when i needed a mother....this was it....i don't and never have had a mother...not a decent one anyway....they both were like the mother i never had and i always remember them and thank them from the bottom of my heart for their treatment and care. I am on the parents forum!! lol... have been since it started.. Apparently we are working in a different way, spending money in other areas and it is actually very effective.. were you are the autism conference a few weeks ago then? was it about 6 weeks ago at the 'big' hotel in the train station here? I was asked to go but it seemed far too focussed on typical autism rather than Aspergers etc from what was said.. so I didn't go but the feedback was excellent.

It is they who asked me to go on the HA committee to kick a$s there
