Molly - its not a personal attack against you, I also feel sorry that you feel this way. However as Pigpen rightly says, these people are resposible for a life and that is a very personal issue to all parents. I had a good experience and a bad experience but I don't tar all MW's with the same brush, I know as do most of us that its the ONE person who we have a grievance with.

Lets just badmouth every midwife out there shall we ? You flyladies never seem to have a good word to say for them. What has any of this actually got to do with flying?
I dont remember mine, is that bad?

I actually wanted to be a midwife, so there:p

there are good and bad people in every profession, and we are quite entitled to talk about them if we like

Oooh... I know what I didn't tell you... the wishy-washy head at school left at easter so the deputy has taken over until the new head starts in September... She is a batleaxe.. I love her!!! We are lining up to go into school like in ye olden days.. small boys in year 6 who do not do their homework get after school detentions... she is great... so far!! There is so much more order and the children seem to really like it.. and DD3 has a new teacher so the deputy can be head.. and she thinks he is great.. but she is still flapping her eyelashes.. she is JUST like KH's mother.. tart! lol...

    Long may it continue!

    off to do tomorrows list...

The bunnies were most confused by their clean cage lol.. had to dig in the hay and make everything messy again.. not happy until there is poo in the litter tray!

ETA My first community midwife was absolutely frightful. She was so rude to OH in the days after birth that we refused to allow her in the house again. The midwife from the next village took over and was very very lovely. We had her again for the other two children as I wouldn't have the first midwife for the second birth and she had been 'moved on' by the time I had my third (I had them all pretty close together). All the midwives at the hospital were nice too.
