You should have kept that to yourself - you know you have now started a run on cardboard boxes, don't you? Hope you got your boxes before you posted that!

I'm safe I live in a cardboard box;)

You're lucky, my cardboard box was repossessed in the late nineties and I've been living in a plastic bag ever since. Now that they don't give plastic bags so readily I don't know where I'll be living when this one wears out.

It's all Cameron's fault. At least Brown is tough on ash, tough on the causes of ash. Isn't Debbie Ash lovely.

Be interesting to see if this causes a blip in CPI/RPI though or, mure succinctly, the Central Bank try and PIN inflation of foodstuffs on this.

Why is the title of this thread "at long last"?
Some people have been waiting for the !!!!!! to hit the fan for a long, long, long time. These people are so wanting to say 'I told you so', as they sit in the dark, eating their cold baked beans out of a tin.

Not so for most of us here, though! No cold baked beans for us! We all know what parts of dogs / humans are safe to eat, to lick car windows for water...

.....and Dopester has a plentiful supply of very fat mice in his loft ;)

I added that later, satirising the gloomy posters.
  • Strangely my local sainsbury's were announcing a 2 for 1 fruit + veg offer when i was in there earlier.
