Ames, I have to say that the therapy sounds odd and your mum sounds like she does not deserve you. You seem such a lovely person here.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

My flight for tomorrow's just been cancelled too. Oh well, back to phoning the agents and waiting an hour for my call to be answered tomorrow morning only to be told the first available flight is in October.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Thanks Katsu.
Going out with wet hair doesn't bother me. I once went to a hairdressers and they shampoo'd it, cut it, but didn't dry it.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

There are 20 years between me and my Mum (she fell pregnant at 19 with me) and it was as if there are 50 years generationally speaking, we have never talked about anything, you name it, I can almost guarantee we haven't discussed it and never did. Strangely, my youngest sister and Mum are very close and there are 32 years between them but as my sister said, Mum has 'mellowed' over the years. She was always a 'you don't talk about that' and 'what would the neighbours say' kind of person.
I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to comment on your relationship with your mum BB, as I think there are so many factors which come into it, it becomes a whole minefield if you try to analyse it. I am an only child and had pretty much no experience of babies/children until I had Katsu, so I just did what felt right and tried not to repeat the mistakes my own mother made with me. I know Katsu always said that she appreciated having a young mum (although her DB who is 3 years younger regarded me a something of a dinosaur for donkeys years, who was sooooooo past it! lolol - I think age and maturity has finally changed his mind a little bit
)
Katsu and I are very much alike in many ways and at times we think alike, but there are other times when we are very different and that is good and healthy. Maybe it works because we don't just love each other dearly as mother and daughter, but as two adult women, we like and respect each other as friends too.......hmmmm analysing this is starting to sound a bit OTT. Time to go make a cuppa and do a few more rows of knitting methinks! lololol
Take it as it comes BB, you never know, one day you might find yourself talking to your mum, but even if you don't, it doesn't mean your relationship with her is any less valuable, its simply whatever works best for you and yours. IFKWIM
