I don't have a hairdryer, or straighteners. Mainly cos I've got limited energy and much higher priorities, and I'd be useless at using them anyway. I always go for low maintenance cuts anyway, I can't be faffed with having to spend more than 30 seconds brushing it.
I have a hairdryer. I needed one for a school trip once.

Can you EVER imagine you and I getting offended with each other and not speaking - cos I can't! lol I think we know each other so well that we know when we are risking overstepping any marks and we both pull back at different times - it's never been a problem.
I read your thoughts with interest and I do understand what you are saying. Unfortunately the disabilities first kicked in when you were quite young so I suppose you don't really remember when I was able to live a reasonably active, normal life, dad more latterly so. I grinned at the bit about "parenting" us......does this mean that I now have permission to be a typical recycled teenager and a complete pain in the !!! to you?????? hehehehe
I don't think we ever consciously thought about NOT discussing things with you, your OH and your DB......we just do because it comes naturally and because we have always genuinely valued your opinions, suggestions, support etc. But then you and I have always talked about anything and everything, or in your own words "random carp"!! For instance, last Wednesday when I had the news of how successful the treatment had been since February, the first ones I wanted to talk to, apart from dad, were you and your DB and share the news......it's just the way we are!
:D
Like I said to you and your DB, I am putting myself through this treatment for ALL of us, so we can have a normal family life again instead of all the stressy stuff and so I can be part of things and not on the edge of it all. Besides, I'm not ready to shuffle off my mortal coil yet without returning the compliment of being the cause of a few random white hairs !!! lolol
Oh and I want to be around to enjoy actually being DF and reap the benefits!!!

Went round the hourse where the Marquess and the Duke (maybe) still live and open it up to the public...It was lovely and the gardens are fantastic. Its a really good day out.
I actually went to Ragley Hall not Ragdale Hall!!!!!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Please picture the scene.......
You make a nice hot cup of tea, you drink half of it, whilst reading DFW and doing other random stuff, then the phone rings. You answer phone and have a nice long girly chat with a friend.........time means nothing......you end call, continue reading screen, typing etc and suddenly remember cup of tea still sitting there. Without taking eyes off screen, you grab mug and take a longgggggg deeeeeeep swig of..........stone cold tea!!!! Not only is it now stone cold but you also get a mouthful of disgusting teabag which was lurking at the bottom of mug and which you forgot to remove in the first place!!!!
Yuckkkkkkkk is there anything worse? lol
