SuzySu, I'm sure that is allowed. Hopefully the travel situation will improve soon. She is a lovely mum and I'm trying to convince her to get to know all you lovely people.

Claire - yup, the grown up version of being caught not doing your homework :D:D

Oh Suzy, I really feel for you. I've been trying today to cancel my hostel but can't find the contact details, I keep thinking of you when I'm doing it all.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Gordon Brown has just called a meeting, this is getting more serious now! Can't see anything flying until Tuesday/Wednesday althiugh there have been some test flights, without passengers, which landed 'without incident'
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

I'm supposed to be flying to scotland on Thurs night for work and back on Fri :( I hope they get flights going much earlier - I don't fancy being on one of the first flights - might need to find my rescue remedy ;)

Oh dear.......have been caught cyber stalking Katsu lol......

Actually, yes, she tries her best to encourage me to get more involved with you all and it's not that I'm unfriendly or don't want to....but I am very much aware that this is Katsu's "space" and I don't want to intrude or cramp her style in any way. We do have an exceptionally good close relationship, but she needs to be able to feel free to say whatever she thinks, which is why you only see me here occasionally. :D

I am also very much a DFW in my own right (well my OH and me) but in the fortunate position of planning to sell our house this year which....fingers, legs eyes and everything else crossed! should enable us to clear the outstanding mortgage and creditors and move into rented adapted accommodation.

So, if you can handle having a mum and daughter among you, I guess Katsu and I can! :rotfl:

We did discuss it - I was sending Mum Martin's email etc without thinking about her ending up here. TBH, where I'd have to worry is if my MIL or any other IL "found" me here and realised how many of their Christmas pressies come from charity shops etc :D Have therefore not sent them Martin's emails :D

Having thought about it (having had kittens when I read her posting, then later on realised who she was!), being on MSE has been so good for me, and the DFW chat regulars are all so friendly, that I want Mum to have the chance to really become more MS and have the support on her DF journey.
