I've cleaned out the shed.....blughhhhhhh not the best time of year with all the spiders and eggs and beasties. Nice to free up a bit of room in there though.

DD1 found maths homework she'd forgotton, DD2 suddenly remembered a history essay on mott and bailey castles.....I know my kids sooooo well...they swear blind all the holiday there's nothing outstanding.......ah well worse things to worry about

I know the feeling! Got back from work.....spent most of the time asleep in the truck bunk and when I got home I made the mistake of 'having a quick lie down!'.
Now must get motivated and mow the lawn......or find a Goat for sale:D

Lawn can wait! Am now engrossed in late Birthday pressie from DD ( she was busy having a baby) which is an old Atlas. It still has places like Persia, Baluchistan, British Somaliland etc and is even pre-Yugoslavia (i.e its when it was Serbia etc before they unified it and then broke it up again)....and theres a lot of pink in Africa!
I love old maps.


edit....it has an Old Testament Map of 'Palestine'....so its pre-Israeli State, nice one DD!

send the goat here after you've finished please!! I need to find a maid with an hour on her hands....I need to wash up, iron and pack some bits up to send back in the post to the catalogue. Probably about 45 minutes of work and I just now can't be faffed sitting here listening to the birds singing, totally chilled out.............:cool:

I'll send the Goat when I've finished with it if you'll send the Maid ( for TOTALLY different purposes you understand)

...oh hang on, if I need the Maid for cleaning duties it still sounds wrong....stop digging Pepe!
