Lost another 1lb in weight over night which is positive at least - so I have lost 6lbs in weight since last Wednesday which has got to be good!
Health still not great - but managed another day at work. Got my first physio appointment thro for my arm - could be interesting - hope it doesn't hurt too much! Still taking prescription strength co-codamol. Got an appointment thro for consultant but it is not until September - where as I was hoping if I had to have an op that I could have it in the summer holidays when it quietens down at work anyway. So thinking of booking yet another gp appointment and trying to get referred to a better hospital and hope that way may be seen quicker tooAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Good luck with getting a sooner appointment. The NHS Choices website gives you an indication of where you would get seen quicker (I wouldn't say it's always as fast as they say, but they do seem to indicate where the shortest and longest waits are imo), so you should know where to fight for.savingholmes wrote: »So thinking of booking yet another gp appointment and trying to get referred to a better hospital and hope that way may be seen quicker too
Hope the rest of your week picks up

Some insensitive **** said I looked like I was pregnant in my top - was I etc and went on and on convinced that I was! I went away and cried - and then collared her and told her how insensitive she had been and how she needed to think before she spoke. Didn't obviously share all my medical stuff with her but for goodness sake - you never tell someone they look pregnant unless you are really sure they are!!
I think if my periods do disappear like they are meant to - things should pick up soon, perhaps even by the end of the week.
I have also started my diet this week and have done a weightloss ticker - so far so good:j
If OH gets his pension refund - then that will make life easier as will be debt free other than student loan and mortgage and may even be able to plan for getting new kitchen. I fancy the ikea red one...
What a horrible person she sounds. I am glad you said something to her. She obviously has no tact or respect for other people.

Hi GG - how are you doing?
As you have probably gathered - I have been severely anaemic and have gynae issues and now also nerve damage on my arm - really hoping things improve real soon as so far it has been a rubbish start to the year!clearmydebts wrote: »What a horrible person she sounds. The tactless person is just really unthinking... makes you wonder if she's on the autism spectrum she can be so brash and insensitive...

I've been very naughty - last night I ordered myself a new red laptop. I did it thro quidco tho so got free delivery and £25 off plus will eventually get 3% cashback off the price before VAT. :money: I have been putting off getting a new laptop for ages tho - and this one is literally falling apart.... laptop is a lifeline...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
