Better Bathroom's local depot.
When writing to the OP, the courier user the phrase "their local depot". That can only mean the depot local to a third party -- Better Bathrooms.
That is what I understoo but not what you imply here
So the courier hasn't lost your goods... they are kindly looking after them for you.
The courier isn't taking care of them if he has deposited them in Better Bathrooms local depot.0 -

"The courier's depot nearest to Better Bathrooms.

I hope that is clearer, and perhaps Yoli will confirm that, or offer another explanation, in due course.
Of course it couldn't be Better Bathrooms' depot, because they had refused to accept the returned goods.
Again, sorry for the trouble I have caused.0 -
Hi all,
We ordered a special shaped bath and even altered the bathroom for it to fit and guess what - They call us up day before delivery to say they have sold it to someone else. We bought it, they sold it. Great customer service. We are now without a bath until middle of November when they say a new one will be delivered.
We are stuck as they are the only seller of this bath.0 -
It's not just me then...I have left the below message on another thread as well. I have had an awful time with them. Thank god my plumber could go off and do another job while we waited. I ordered goods on the 5th October for 3-5 day delivery and had an email on the 6th saying order had been released (note; money taken from account on the day): I hear nothing for around 10 days, so I call and get told it’s because I chose “economy” and get this…because I chose economy it could take up to 30 days!!! So ticking 3-5 days means nothing?? Then she tells me it’s because I didn’t chose a date. Well I did, I chose a date of a 3-5 day window of opportunity for them to deliver my goods! At the end she tells me that she has put the order on 48 hour delivery but as it’s coming up to the weekend I wait until the following Tuesday to call back after yet again hearing nothing. This time another lady tells me to hold while she sorts it out, and yet again I get told that it will be delivered in 48 hours……LMAO..yes it happened again…nothing, so I call again…”sorry sorry, I will sort it out and find out what’s happened” she tells me ( I think another lady) . I then get told that someone had put a delivery date of the 24th of November on my order…YOU HAVE BE JOKING! Well, she is very sorry and promises me that she has put the order on a 24 hour delivery and it WILL leave overnight and will most definitely be delivered tomorrow. At this time I am seriously thinking of quitting and getting my goods from somewhere else but I’ll give it one last shot. Oh how wrong was I. The tracking order in the morning wouldn’t work and I get a text in the morning to say that it’s been put on a 24 hour delivery. I text back; “does that mean today?”, but no-one bothers to text back, so yet again I’m on the phone (p.s expect to wait on average 15-20 minutes before someone picks up) and guess what????? Nope not today but hope for tomorrow…FORGET IT. Now cancelled order last Friday (24th Oct) and rushed around trying to get another one delivered. This was the first of 7 bathrooms and 3 WC’s being done and I think I will stick local for all of them from now on. Oh and I was told I had to wait for 48 hours before I get my money back L but I've looked at my account today and I still have no refund a week later. I just sent them an email asking for my money back. Hugely disappointed. I will NEVER buy from them again.0

If all you read from this review is the first line, please do not order anything from this company. I ordered my products over a month ago and have still not got them. I will now go on to explain my experience:
I wanted to order a shower tray and shower enclosure to replace the ones in my bathroom. I decided on a 700 x 700 shower tray and the same size enclosure. I was worried that they would not fit together and so I rang better bathrooms to see if they did. I was advised to buy a larger shower tray and so bought the tray that the customer rep advised me to.
As I work full time, I had to take a day off work to receive delivery and on that day it never arrived. After 3 phone calls, I was told that the order had not been processed.
I explained that I worked during the week and was told that there was nothing they could do and so I had to take another day’s holiday to receive the delivery.
On the second attempt the products arrived. I wasn’t given a chance to inspect the products before he left (as promised on the website) but the plumber I hired inspected them before installation and they were in one piece without any noticeable scratches.
The plumber then started installing the tray and enclosure only to discover that they were not compatible with each other, despite being told to buy these two products.
I rang up better bathrooms to try and rectify the problem, whilst still paying for the plumber and was told that they could not take my word for it and would have to listen to their phone records to see whether I was telling the truth. This was supposed to happen within 24 hours. I had to ring several times to chase this up, each time I was lied to. I was promised phone back’s that never happened. When this finally happened a week later, they admitted fault but nothing was done to rectify the problem.
I have spent close to 10 hours trying to sort this problem without success. It has cost me hundreds of pounds in plumber fees and lost work .
They offered to send me a new enclosure recently after hours of fighting for it but it did not turn up on the day they said it would. My shower is still unfinished and cannot be used.
The customer service is not just bad it is fraudulent. They have mis-sold their product, breached contract and taken money from me, for products I did not order.0 -
Ordered combi sink/toilet unit, radiator, taps, fittings, etc. on the 29th November.
All in stock.
3-5 day delivery.
Plenty of time to get it delivered and then for my plumber to install.
By the Thursday I hadnt recieved any delivery details, so I called to see what was going on...
"Oh we've just discovered a problem with the combi units and have no stock, but dont worry we'll have them on the 19th December!"
Odd... theyre still showing in stock?
"Oh yeah, we'll update that. Maybe you'd like to order a different unit?"
Okay... i'll have a think about it...
I cant wait until the 19th because we have no basin in the bathroom (the whole reason for buying this in the first place is because weve moved the bath to where the Basin was to make room for the Combi unit!).
So, 2 days later, Im checking the website, and its STILL in stock, so decide I'm dealing with a bunch of amateurs and figure I'm better off out of the situation altogether. Saturday morning, I call and cancel my order.
"Any particular reason" they ask...
oh yeah, only that I order an item thats "in stock". Not only can you not supply, you also cant be bothered to tell me, and on top of that you cant even manage to take the item out of stock that you dont have!
Monday I recieve a "Survey" email asking me how my order went! Yeah, way to anger your dissatisfied customers even more BetterBathrooms!
As of today my order still shows as "being processed" and my card provider has no information about the refund process being started.
Im now faced with either having no basin over Christmas, or doing what Ive had to do and by the cheapest basin I can find and have it fitted until we can buy a combi unit from a reputable retailer after Christmas.
So, this company not only has £700 of my money, they have also cost me £150 for a sink I dont want and fitting that should have been for the unit they cant supply.
I've now taken to googling this companies reviews, something I wish I had done before I started!
Well heres another one for Google. Better Bathrooms. Review. Complete and utter S@*$!0 -
Oh my word!!
Thank you all so much!! I just ordered over £600 worth of goods from Better Bathrooms. My credit card company declined the payment. When I rang them they said it was for security reasons and I should ring back tomorrow when the security team are in. THANK GOD I found these reviews!! I will try somewhere else instead.0 -
I bought a sink from these thieves. Because it was wrong size, I returned it (and paid myself for the return). It was 4 months ago but still waiting for the refund. I have been calling them every couple of weeks and everytime they say that I will get the refund within next week. Last week, I lost my patience because I had called them almost nearly 10 times with no luck. Finally they said they never received the item back and asked for proof of delivery!!! Then I had to get in touch with courier company and asked them the tracking and delivery details. I sent the details to the these frauds. After 2 weeks when had no reply from them I called them again. They said they never received my email. I checked my sent items which said emailed delivered. Then she agreed that they have received the email but it went into wrong folder!!! Now I have threatened them about taking legal action. Let's see what is the new excuse they come up with..? I REALLY WONDER WHY PEOPLE ARE STILL GIVING THEM BUSINESS!!!!0

Let's see what is the new excuse they come up with..?
If you haven't already made them aware, inform them that any amounts they owe you will be subject to a 8% annualised rate of interest from the date they should have refunded your money.
Given that it's been 4 months, they owe you the refund amount multiplied by 1.026 - may not be much but it'll start adding up soon, and it should hasten their action in regards to your claim.0
