I did 2 orders last night 1 in my name 1 in DH's and hes had a call this morning saying that the code is only valid for existing account customers.

Yes, Can i echo what Jojo has said above, I have just had a call from Very, waking me up:rotfl: and the lady said that the code for £10 was only elligible for ACCOUNT customers, not for card payment which is what I wanted.

I tried arguing with her but like some users said before, if the order isnt dispatched then there is no obligation to honor the prices! So I just gave up and cancelled the order for what would have been a free pair of jeans

ditto. Far too early to ring on a saturday morning, I was just ordering another cocktail at the beach bar when the phone rang waking me up!! :mad::D

wow that was quick, placed order at 10, phone call at 10.04 saying can only use voucher if your account is 'account credit' a load of bull if u ask me lol oh well

There was no need to be so unpleasant, someone was trying to help. If something 'breaks the rules' its up to the moderators to say so.

well i got to checkout added the codes it left balance of £6 to pay which was ok but then tried added to my account and nothing.......cant get any further forward just says error comitting order

They seem to have cancelled my order, when I go to my account it says CREDIT REJECTED!

I placed my order at 20.56 last night and it is now showing as 'order accepted' on my account and money debited from my bank account as I paid the 50p by debit card, not my Very Account. I just missed a telephone call whilst in the bath from an 0800 number so I am assuming that will be the cancellation call??!!

Placed an order just there but made sure to put it into my very account, so hopefully it will go through! many thanks op for posting this
