So, does it mean a 'credit account' is rejected.
I.e You havent chosen to pay via having credit with them.
Does that make sense?:AQuidco

Well I had to have a err interesting conversation with the very call centre today. Firstly, a very rude young lady informed me i had to contact MSE?! Im like no, this is your code lol. In the end, she near enough told me to !!!!!! off so I demanded to speak to the manager
he was friendly, I moaned about the call centre advisor as I was genuinely unhappy with her attitude, low and behold few hours later they havnt got a hold on my money anymore

I did this, I was so annoyed, and still am....ordered online a tshirt for £12 (so after the £10 off was £2) - this order was cancelled...
I call up a day later, ask why etc, she places the order again, takes my card details, DOES NOT confirm the amount until after she has taken the card details and told me it would be 4 weeks for delivery, she advised it would be £12 (after the £10) I queried this, she said that it was an online only offer (so I cancelled)....I said what about the money, she advised as it was out of stock, they would take it when it was ready to be despatched. I thought ok....
Today I get a letter from my bank, I have gone overdrawn because they took my payment and put it back in two days later...now gonna get charged £22!! NOT HAPPY!!:mad:0 -
I get a free credit watch with my Capital One credit card, and got an e-mail to say that there has been a search on my Equifax file. When I went to order last week, and even though I paid by credit card (although no money was taken and order cancelled) they felt the need to carry out a credit search. I may have missed in their T&C's that they reserve the right to do this whilst rushing to get my order in, but surely if I wasn't applying for a credit account, and the balance of zero was being funded by my credit card, then surely they don't have a right to carry out a credit search. If they do have the right, then what about next time I shop at other online retailers. Does every online retailer have the right to carry out a credit search if you're only paying by credit card.0

I don't have firm on this Shiggaddi but i have heard of complaints about this before on HUKD - some guy had found out when he went to get mortgage that Littlewoods group had run credit check though like you he hadn't used a credit account.
