Hi all,
I don't know where the time goes to- I really don't.Done my shop this morning, but on the bus now as DS1 can no longer pick me up.Bit of a struggle as I always get too much for my wally trolley.I could wait until tomorrow and DH would take me,but I like going having a mooch and taking my time, too hectic at weekends.I've still got to unpack it yet.
DH & I are off to the pub for Tapas night with our friends tonight,so will do something easy for DSons.I want to try and finish the baby quilt I am making today.Picked up quite a few remnants at a fabric mill.I am also looking at charity shop stuff with a new eye,as I am so pleased with the sewing box I recovered with fabric that came from a blouse.I got 2 skirts yesterday, one to use as patchwork, the other to make a bag,as its quite thick,& red & white stripes. The one I got for patchwork is originally from Sainsbugs-I don't think its ever been worn.I didnt look at the size, just liked the fabric, but tried it on and it fits even tho' its a size smaller than I normally take so I may use it over the summer.
Well this isnt getting the jobs done is it? So I'll love you and leave you.Diva-hope you feel better very soon, and anyone else who is unwell. So sorry about your friend Sunnyday.
Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Afternoon all
Redruby, hope your dog's leg gets better soon
Sunnyday - sorry to hear about your friend
Rosyred - enjoy the tapas night!
Lovely sunny day here, not very warm though. DH and I are off to a wedding tomorrow so i need to rest today so i can enjoy it.
Feeling quite down today, turns out some friends and family members weren't the people i thought they were, some nasty things been said about me and my DH and being excluded from the the sort of things we've always been invited to in the past or only invited out of duty, like to my cousin's baby's christening next weekend.
My 'friend' isn't talking to me, has ignored texts and fb messages i've sent, i think its because DS missed her DS's birthday party a couple of weeks ago. He was ill, and when he gets a high temp he has febrile convulsions so i obviously didn't want to take him along and called and explained this and offered to pay for his party place as it was such short notice but she hasn't spoken to me since. Very childish, i mean, we're 25 now not still in school and it was a 3yr olds birthday party. But now that shes not talking to me, neither are 2 other friends.
Anyway, enough of me moaning - sorry everyone!
Take care all and hope everyone enjoys the weekend

They aren't friends if they behave like that.
Genuine friends accept that life happens & sometimes things don't go to plan.
