Argh, yet again delated a post.

Thanks Michelle you are a star! I have joined swagbucks tonight, Hav'nt read through it properly yet, I need to find a bit of free time from somewhere to have a good look.

I have so much to do still, we are watching the wedding round my mums this friday then I have at least 12 coming back to ours in the evening and the house is shocking, I think I will have to get up super early in the morning.

I have done all my bank transfers today as everything has gone in early, worked out that I've already spent £62 of mays budget. I also just got a good bargin on grabbit of 2x rubix 360 puzzle type things for £2.57 each, one for ds2's birthday, one for xmas. I need to keep a closer eye on grabbit to build up some xmas presents to help towards the cost.

DD and I were watching the new harry potter trailer today and she has decided that she wants to go to see it with her friends for a birthday treat. So I might start putting some change in a jar to save up for it, I don't want to pay for too many of them though.

I'm off to pack her case now for the school trip, seriously last minute, also terrible timing as she needs to be at school for 10.30am to leave at 11am when the wedding is on, dh said he will take her but I'm really torn what to do I want to wave her off , but I want to watch the wedding as well, she doen't care either way to be honest she was too busy talking to mates last time she went away to wave to us.:p

I need to get started now, I have lots of cakes to make for tomorrow as well.

DD's off today, I wish it was me going away!

Looking forward to watching the wedding , I spent ages last night making red/white&blue cakes with the kids, then another hour or so cleaning up the mess.

Mortgage wise i've not done much this week, I joined swagbucks recommended my michelle, did a few surveys and had petrol put in my car by my dad, he used to fill our car up if we went on holiday but hasn't done it for a couple of years so popped round last weekend and took the car for a fill up unexpectedly. Great timing as I'm short again in may as I've already been spending on naughty things like booze to put in the new bar.

I think I will get more organised when my lot are back at work and school properly, they are off so much at the moment and we are in chaos with all the diy going on, dh is great at diy but not great at clearing up as he goes.

Best go and get ready and make sure dd has everything she needs.

 Electrician coming on sunday, and dh has just informed me that he can't pay for it. He had said before that he would sort it. I've op'd the money I could have used, its my own fault really. I'm still hoping that he will come up trumps though as he often has money when he says he does'nt , I think he likes to keep it away from me.;)

DD has arrived safely , and I have had a great morning watching the wedding which i loved, then came home and cleaned up the house, dh is washing the floor in the log cabin at the moment so we can take everyone in there for a drink tonight, first time he's washed a floor in years! might need some candles or maybe an extension lead and lamp though or it'll be dark.

I hope everyone is having a good day, I am, I've just had my first g&t from my new naughty stash, yum :rotfl:

I'm not having a great weekend so far, meal was ok last night although family did not want to sit in the new log cabin after dinner, and dh has been in a bad mood for the last two days.:(

I feel like I can't be bothered to do anything at the moment, all I have managed to do is eat today. I don't like dd not being here either, it feels a bit strange although I should be used to it by now.

I think I'll spend some time on here tonight reading some different threads.

Chin up. It was a long day yesterday for you, and it sounds like a bit of an anticlimax. Do something you want to do tonight.

Feeling a bit more positive today, the electrician is coming so I need to have a word with dh and see if he has any money , then sort out some cash. I think I will take the boys round my mums this morning as my nan will be going for a cup of tea, thye can play football in the garden there as its big, unlike ours. The rest of the day I plan to do a LOT of ironing.

I think next year I will make sure that we have some sort of weekend break at easter, we are going away twice in the school summer hols this year, but I wish it could have been split really. I have been thinking about getting a new tent or trailer tent next year, we have been camping for a total of 3 nights in our old tent, which was ok but a bit cramped, so we have not been for 2 years.

I had'nt considered a tent for a main summer holiday ( I have a bit of a toilet phobia as well!) so we have to go to loo of the year sites:o, but the difference in holiday price is massive compared to hiring a caravan. My friend has just booked 10 days on the isle of wight in august, not sure of the cost but its often around £20 PN.

Do any of you guys go camping in a tent /trailer tent? I'm just desperate to get away at the moment, and if we started camping again we could go a lot more often, especially as dh gave up working weekends.

    Morning,
we have a tent which we purchased last year we have used it once for one night and had a brill time.I have the same phobia and have developed a very strong bladder. the ammenities at the site we went to were spot on . I always try to use loos in pubs and clubs when im out. Want to go again soon as not going on normal abroad hols, focussed on paying of loans and mortgage.Looking at getting an extension for our tent to give us a bit more room but have to weigh up the pros and cons of this.Saw a link to the daily mirror doing 95p a night camping but not sure if this has finished as i cant see a date on it, was going to have a look at the paper today.

Blimey one night , thats worse than me!

We had only been locally, once for 1 night once for 2. Its just I'm worried about if we drive a really long way for a summer holiday and its not nice , we are stuck there.

I would get the tent extension if you are sure you like camping, its more comfortable if you are going away for a bit longer. I'm sure the sun always do the 95p camping in the main summer hols or just before.

I'm the same, I can do caravan holidays but not tents and that's because of the toilet issue! We're going on a Sun holiday to Devon in July, cost us about £100 in total - i can't wait!
