Well I had my hair done and it was half price for the visit -£82.25  I think £20 of that was a tint after the highlights, it does look a million times better but I'm not sure how I justify the cost while we still have a mortgage, however I feel so much better

Of course, you don't have to justify it but if you did.......that right there, those last 5 words, is the justification

Thanks daisy
it must look better as one of the guys at work asked if I'd had a haircut, they don't notice stuff like that normally :rotfl:
Food spending challenge fail this January already
£218.53 spent now after a stop off at mr t on the way home from work. Realistically it's too much of a struggle to stick to the diet whilst trying to use up what we have, i would rather fail at the spending than the diet this month!
Really need an early night but ds1 is at a match and hasn't got his phone with him, fingers crossed for no extra time as it will be really late!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Can't get out of bed for work , it's too cold! must get up soon or I will be late

Ive been forgetting to make a note of any mse things I've done daily so time to make more effort:
- heating not too high
- lunch for work made last night ( and dinner)
- no spend day
- possible trip to the cinema for a free film with ds2
- no alcohol
Nothing too thrilling today :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Oh dear, should have crossed your toes as well! Still, came good in the end

Getting my hair cut today - €20 - benefits of being naturally 'silver' :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Indeed GG
hope you are well
I've had a stressful day, it's resulted in my eating chocolates and a croissant  these items probably don't even exist on the weightwatchers app :rotfl:
Too many boring issues to write, mainly revolving around work and dd and boyfriend leaving my car in a mess after borrowing it for a month. Anyway popped round mum's for a moan where she informed me that her and Dad are employing the cowboy builder to renovate the flat they have just bought in York
This is the builder that made our house "structurally unstable" I don't usually swear in front of my parents but I made have said I hope he bleeps it up as it's your own fault.... they would also be paying his travel and hotel bill presumably, nobody they have contacted in york has got back to them.
Im utterly gobsmaked, my dad is a very intelligent man with a successful business. I have threatened to try and get power of attorney over him if he goes ahead :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Wow. Well sometimes people just don't listen to reason.
Some days you just have bad days with food (totally justifying my curry last night here).
Fingers crossed the rest of the week is less stressful.0 -
Can't you just get power over his cars instead

I don't want his insurance costs :rotfl::rotfl:
Super windy outside all night, seems like the roof will cave in up in the penthouse  a good day planned today (excluding the WW weigh in -shudder) off for a day of chatting, eating and shopping in that order with best friend who's birthday it was yesterday. Plus was given some free hot drinks vouchers by someone at work :T
Dh put the staffs hours up some more yesterday which is a big step, hooefully this year will be a good one and we can reinstate the last few hours that were reduced in the next few months.
Payday next Wednesday and the first full payment I had planned WILL be paid - no booking a holiday, looking at cars or buying stuff for the kids etc. instead the full amount  this won't last for the full 17 months I know but every month we do is a big bonus
