First night at the hotel good, had our free cream tea and then went to Prezzo for dinner with a vouchercode as the hotel restaurant is ££££ amd the pub down the road was £18 for a burger! Also bought a coat from primarni as the one I bought the other day I left at home and it's a bit wet, will take the other one back for a refund as it has e label on still.

It's goodwood revival weekend and there are some lovely looking cars in the car park , we have parked ours out the way round the corner :rotfl:

Hope there isn't too much water damage. Enjoy the cruise, you definitely deserve a break and to switch off and recharge.

No, I booked the 2 night cruise as it went on the sat and I was thinking of doing goodwood on the Friday but didn't in the end as it felt rushed and was also even more money!

Back home already, cruise was good but as it was a 2 night one it was more lively with a few hen dos which were very well behaved but everywhere was busier. Ship was big too (p and o Ventura) and our room was the first one right next to the atrium where a live band played and loads of people were dancing  it was alright for a couple of nights and convenient to nip back on the plus side I suppose :rotfl:

Total spend £126 incl tips and a few euros on chocolate got the kids, plus £35 on dinner at Prezzo Friday. House in one piece, nw a lot of washing to do :D

Sounds like a nice trip. :) Could be very tempted if Southampton wasn't so far away.
