He seems to think it's getting better, am trying to play it cool and will look again with dh when he gets home! It's no wonder I am getting the odd grey hair.
Dd just sat her a level and is very relived (stress and tears last night) the way the boys have been throughout their exams is so much more laid back than dd ever was, the school has been drilling it into them to not worry and they have taken them at their word :rotfl:
Girls night out tonight, best friend and old school friend  it's one of their birthdays and we are doing drinks and pizza express as one of them has a birthday voucher for a free bottle of proseccoI've already downloaded the codes for meal deals tonight :money: I shall be getting the bus I think into town, I feel like I am 16 again - just need 10 silk cut, box of matches and a can of cider to take :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for good exam results.
Have fun tonight. Don't forget to sit at the back of the bus putting on too much eyeliner (or was that just me;)).MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

Oops didn't realise I'd not posted for days
Friday night with the girls was good, little headache Saturday maybe , but not too badds2's lump seems to be going down, which is a big relief although he will still go the doctors to get it checked again.
Saturday I took dd out whilst driving dh and the guys from work around from a beer festival to a pub to watch the football - my goodness they were drunk at the end  me and dd went to Prezzo (Xmas gift card) and I bought her a Disney princess rag doll from the Disney store - she would rather that than new clothes :rotfl: treated ds1 to money for dinner with his friends and will give ds2 the same, it just seems that although cash I was given is all going to op's that I should still treat the kids to a little something.
Yesterday, nothing much except I booked a cruise :j - I hope gallygirl is not around, she might say tell me off
Well, it's really because I found the perfect 4 night one on our favourite ship so far (Arcadia) going to Amsterdam, at a great price - then I noticed it was for Nov 2017I thought well just book it anyway! £299 pp (cheap for a short cruise) including food/entertainment, 4% cash back, and choice of inside cabin and dining /table size
£90 deposit and I can change it to another cruise if needed.
I am still looking out for this year too, but I can chip away at next years it has £508 to pay over 16 odd months should be ok, £31.75 pm :T I have not told dh, as i thought I'd surprise him with it as a birthday present next year (offsetting the birthday money I put by for him towards it :money:)
Still on the look out for this year mind
Sending back most of the Lindy bop dresses I bought tomorrow , keeping a nice retro cardi , 2 X polka dot ones and a blue amd black floral one which I can get in but are very tight - they will fit and some point though, hilarious fun with dd last night hurting her fingers trying to shoe horn me in them - me insisting they do fit, just like one of the ugly sisters in Cinderella :rotfl:
Mini bus booked for Alton towers and I got the price down and added an extra day thanks to cash back and voucher codes , also changing the drop off time. £153 for 4 days which I thought was pretty good for a 9 seaterbudget will be tight this month , don't know what the food spends have been so far but I need to go shopping today AGAIN, not sure how feasible £300pm is throughout the summer whilst all three are off!

Ohh sneaky cruise booking there! The monthly payment sounds doable.
I love the idea of a minibus to Alton Towers, what a fun idea. I think your food bill is likely to be closer to £300 pw :eek:with three teenagers loitering in the house for weeks.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

It had better not be that much
Spending so far this month: £236.61 food , oops! £63.39 left of grocery target this month.
Everything else spends : £172.38 incl petrol
Remaining £311.01
Will defiantly go over target this month as its only the 13th, did a huge shop today £108
Also paid the new 0% cc for June - £150 pm minimum payment and then added another £150 which is the extra that would be needed pm to clear the balance in two years which ties in with the end of the interest free period and the mortgage end date - if I'm lucky! Might be the only extra payment that gets paid thoughMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
No money spent the last few days :T
However, I am seriously resisting buying dh a car :eek: it's a big itch I am trying hard not to scratch. Need to get that flipping money off the mortgage asap :rotfl::rotfl:
I am doing a bbq for Father's Day Sunday, whch will hammer the grocery budget, bbqs with my parents include many many side dishes usually (when it's just us , it tends to be burgers, buns and salad if you are lucky!)
Menu :
Elk sausages (urgh - from dh's meat stall he found )
Other strange meat he insists on buying!
Burgers /sausages
Chicken
Veggie/vegan burgers
halloumi
Buns
Greek salad
Multi coloured tomatoes in balsamic
Rainbow rice salad
Homemade bread and dippy chilli oil
Roasted Rosemary chopped up spuds
Homemade coleslaw
Ice lolly selection
Strawberries
Chocolate something - fudge cake perhaps
Prosecco
Wine
More wine
Beer
Lime and soda
Need to buy that lot and hope the weather stays good, I've not bought any Father's Day presents yet - mum says don't get dad anything as he has spent too much money on himself lately :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Step away from the car newgirly! Just think of what options you will have in 2 years when you are mortgage free.

Last exam today cath :j i am not sure what the boys will do with the time they have in the summer! they said they will look for jobs, but I am not convinced. If they don't they will have to help us at work, love a bit of child labour
Day at home today, all washing and cleaning needs doing, mortgage and child benefit paperwork.
Lots spent yesterday £31 aldi on booze and crisps and dips for Sunday
£30 crowdfunding - little brothers friends wife died unexpectedly and they need money to fly her back to her home country for the funeral
£13 primark - uneccessary frivolous spending, sunglasses, plastic tumblers, jewellery
£13 coffee and tea cakes for two friends for breakfast catch up
Dreading looking at the credit card balance nowMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Right Primark is your frivolous spending for the month so no car allowed.;)
