Payday tomorrow, another month ticked off, well 2x months this month!

I need to find a way to earn some extra money, I've been wanting to book goodwood revival again for next year (dh bought tickets this year for my 40th) the hotels are very expensive and usually booked up for miles around. I also really want to go on a cruise and have just spotted that there is a 2 night cruise the same weekend as goodwood (they are quite close by to each other) that would be such an awesome trip, a day at goodwood, a night at a b&b (seems cheaper through cruise firm) and a 2 night cruise the next morning. £199 pp the cruise full board and £50 the b&b pp, plus goodwood tickets.

No need to tell me off as I shan't be booking it. :p but it has certainly given me an incentive to work towards, its not until next September.

Back down to earth again, housework , washing and changing the beds today ( plus a bit too much time looking at car shows and cruises :rotfl:)

    :j payday:j we are into the £120's now :D (well £129,999.50) :rotfl:

Only £9999.50 away from what we paid for the house in 2001

In the last 4 months the official minimum to clear the mortgage needed pm has dropped from £1839 to £1812. Incl. Interest.

Now I have upped the op's to : the minimum £1812
    Extra op's. £140
    Total. £1952 pm

That knocks it down to 6 yrs from now, with the extra money from eric too.

Food budget over though so not all good, will update later :)

Not a great day, just set off mum and dads alarm whilst feeding the cats, then visited gran who is refusing all food at the moment. Spoke to the nurse on reception when I left and she was so kind I had leaky eyes on the way out :o

Might sort out my xmas list tomorrow and make sure everything is done (Bar the couple of people left on the list). Other than that nothing planned except washing and as minimal amount of cleaning as I can get away with.

Grocery spending so far £383.37 it does include wine and toiletries for a while but that's still waaay too much! That leaves £616.63 until new years eve.
That equates to £9.06 per day for everything for us five and the pets. it should be doable however I need to plan way better, go through what we have and do a bit of research on offers before I go shopping as well as cook as much as possible from scratch.

In actual fact the budget is not a million miles away from what it usually is, monthly its only £400 anyway £13.33 per day.

Oop's still lots on my to-do list :o.

More importantly I need to meal plan with what I have in, half term week is not the best time to be having a cheap one, i should do some baking really.

The cat is driving me mad, I have just switched her to wet food from dry as she is getting older and its easier for her. She is a foreign white (white siamese) and therefore quite mouthy normally, but wow its a whole new level of noise! She now follows me around constantly screaming for more food all day, it appears she likes her new food better :rotfl:

Off to cook and do washing.

    lost a post!

She has biscuits out already shs so I'm not sure if that would help, could get messy with wet food! She has now worn herself out yelling and is asleep on our bed.

    cooking done;

    lamb in sc
3x veggie curry from left over frozen veg in bottom of freezer
    loaf
    twinks hob nobs
    fairy cakes
lamb casserole waiting for lamb leftovers

Have cleared both freezers and there was not much left, there was leftover xmas turkey though (binned!) I did a small top up shop of milk and frozen veg for this weeks meal plan, plus takeout style pizzas and chocolate fudge cake for pumpkin carving day, all from the cheap frozen shop.
