I, too, like purple - I once bought an Escort purely because it was lilac! And we were checking out KAs for DD (purple ones, natch!) - but they are crazy insurance groups when compared to something more 'boring' like a Polo, so she can join the VW clan when she passes her test (I have a dark grey Golf Plus, OH has a dark grey Sharan - he has been scoping out dark grey Polos!! :D)

My sister is on her 2nd purple car - she is also a fan!

I had a purple escort, bought it brand new. Thinking back it was at the start of our. financial woes, buying cars we could not afford :rotfl:

Wbc, not sure when we hear about the new work. As for gran, she has been told by the hospital she can't go home, she doesn't want to go into a home but can't even walk now, I suppose the blessing is she does not really know what is going on or remember anything :( The family situation is nobody can cope with the level of care she needs now. Thanks for asking :)

Its an "epic fail" as my ds2 would say on the wine front, bought some red for dh at the weekend which he didn't drink but I currently am, on a monday, the night before weigh in day, oops.

A 1983 2.8i would be the 'Special' with the 5 speed 'box and LSD? The one I had a drive in was the 4 speed 'Injection' model, being used to Triumphs I was pleasantly surprised just how nice the 4 speed was without an overdrive.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, NG. :(

Not sure Alex, I know the 3.0l were specials, it was before I met him, I was still pootling around in a fiat uno :D

Oh dear, weigh in day and 1.5 pounds on :. Now only four pounds list in total in about a month, very bad. Fresh start today.

I found a car lease deal on hduk yesterday £474 deposit and £76 pm rental for a 2 year contract on a new mid range fiat panda. So about £95 pm overall. Not my first choice of car I have to say but it just about seats five.

Currently we own a 7 yr old vauxhall zafira, i don't think it would pay us to change that , but i thought id have a quick look anyway, they pay the car tax and its a 1.2l so petrol costs would be cut. How am I supoosed to know whether our current car will plod along another 2 years cheaply? To be honest I don't like the panda or zafira, I just want the cheapest option.

Figues updated, yesterday's paypacket now empty :D

£1530 op to clear in term, plus an extra £60
Cc's min payments £44 and £35 plus an extra £53 op

I've had a cc shuffle, my current daily usage one is terrible for rewards, I have not earned enough to get anything this year. I am going back to the nationwide cashback one. The startement date is earlier so i have a little surplus that I have put by to pay for the hotel room in november for the xmas market £54 and the rest has gone off the cc's and i've bought a new dress, black short sixties swing dress with bell bottom sleeves exactly the style I was looking for ,£13 in primarni :money: pro rata i have just about stuck to the £300 grocery budget.

Not sure what challenges to set now. I don't want to stretch things too far as I feel like having a bit of fun :D oh, I also splashed out on 2x prezzo meal deals a couple of days ago. Found on hduk, 3 courses and a glass of house wine for two. Was £50 then £30 , then a £10 off code and 12% through tcb  one will be used when we go away.
