I am very lucky I know
Not much happening today, dh stared to de clutter the log cabin today as its full of the stuff that was in the Loft, now its spread around the house and garden
Dh at work tomorrow with dd so am planning to wash / iron and do lots of number crunching and drinking tea :beer:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Up early today to see dh and dd off to work and make sure they took the Spanish omelette I made for lunch. I am back in bed with tea now though, debating whether to stay here and relax or get the twins up and take then to a boot sale. They did ask last night and have not left the house for days so could do with some fresh air, but it is one of (if not the ) biggest boot sale in the country so will be very busy to get into. Mm decisions, I suppose I should get up reallyMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Wrong choice made! I took ds1 to the boot sale and the traffic was so bad it took an hour and ten mins to get there instead of the usual 15 mins. Plus we bought nothing, what a waste of time!
Its dunton boot sale and double the size it was last year with literally thousands of stalls, I don't think I'll bother again.
I'm going to have a tidy up then fire up the lap top to use my fav op calculator (ipad doesn't like it ) a full plan for the rest of the year is on its wayMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Plan done
Firstly I am in credit with ovo :j only changed a few months ago and am £196 in credit , so have reduced the dd from £275 to £205 pm (hopefully this is still to much)
Reduced the amount slightly that I use to feed and entertain us , so :
May :£ 1164 mbna cc £47 fluid cc
June :£ 1250 mbna. £47 fluid
July :£ 1250 mbna. £47 fluid
Aug. :£1250 mbna. £47 fluid
Sept :£ 1250 mbna. £47 fluid
Oct. :£1250 mbna. £47 fluid
Nov. :£1250 mbna. £47 fluid
Dec. :£101 mbna £1196 fluid
If we get money in May from the property sale by mil in Spain in May then we will clear the nationwode loan, which will also free up £368 to op the fluid cc with, then fingers crossed we will owe £931 in total by the end of the year + £146k on the mortgage. :TMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

There are gremlins in my ipad , i tried to post a few times yesterday and it would not let me
Dh is out all weekend except Sunday when we go to my aunts for lunch. He is repaying a favour from four years ago, a friend at work helped us build our massive log cabin and fit the hot tub in , so a few days work. Now dh is laying him a patio and decking the rest of his garden (it's only about 30ft ) so it will be a hard weekend for him as he's tired from normal work at the moment.
Ds1 needs picking up from my parents as he got stuck on a day trip to France yesterday after they shut the tunnel due to a broken down train, poor things didn't get back to the dartford tunnel until 2am after a 4.30 am start
The inlaws are coming over tonight and I feel a little tension could be on its way as mil is cross that dh is doing work for a friend this weekend. She wants him to go and lay her a tiled floor across most of the downstairs of their fair sized detached house  they could get someone in but would rather he did it, they will give home some money. He has been doing 14 hour days at work and working weekends lately , the only reason he is helping his friend is because we owe him a favour and he can't manage it alone or afford to pay anyone.
I mean we had someone in to tile our ensuite in the loft so dh didn't have to do it! Grrrr.
Ok early morning rant over, happy good friday everyoneMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Its a beautiful day here today, nothing planned except washing and ironing.
Not much spent this week as we have been in most days except for work. The itch to buy something overtook yesterday so I ordered a few bits from approved foods, best of all 12 bottles of pizza express dressing for £4 and 36 squeezable sachets of Heinz soup for 2p :T plus a few other bits.
I also splashed out on a silver coin, as the premium bonds are on hold while we pay the debts like crazy, I thought it would be a very small fun way to put a little by , plus silver is at rock bottom at the moment. It was only £20 insured and posted incl. so nothing to retire on just a little fun and probably better than buying a new topMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Gotta love AF.
That is a cool thing your DH is doing.
