Thanks you so much for posting the receipe MWC, I I will Definatly give that a try, is it the type of receipe I could freeze leftovers?
Op made today 10p, and still on track to stick to the budget this month which is a mini miracle as the kids are all at home. We are supposed to be meeting a friend and her kids today but we have not planned anything and its pouring with rain, I bet we end up staying in
I am off to dye my hair courtesy of the £1 shop, and possibly trim it if I find the sharp scissors :eek:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Not sure NG - sorry - I only have a small slow cooker so I tend to use less chicken (enough for 4) but the same amount of sauce (for simplicity reasons only!) and we eat it all in a single mealMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

No worries MWC, thanks for replying
We ended up taking the kids to the shopping centre today so they could go off of for a bit on their own and have lunch. I did but a few bits to possibly wear to the 40th we are going to tomorrow, but as with the shoes I bought its all going back.
I am now wearing an old charity shop bought oasis wrap 50's style black dress and mums irregular choice shoes. I do try and buy new clothes it just never seems to feel right.
Hope everyone has a good weekendMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I feel guilty buying new clothes too. I am going to a friends quite posh wedding at the end of the month and don't know whether to wear a (charity shop) monsoon number I have or splash out and buy a new charity shop number, complete still with all it's TK Maxx tags. I would need new shoes, wrap etc and all that too though. I think I might try on the one I have and see if it still[STRIKE] fits[/STRIKE]looks nice....Jan 2013-£140,231.65

It's annoying isn't it, I never used to have a problem with buying clothes until I joined mse. However I still have not cured my addiction to buying primarni pyjamas and fluffy socks
How much is the charity shop dress fothers? I know they do really cheap plain pashminas on fleabay for a couple of pounds in many different colours you could match up.
Dh up early making a racket , so now I'm wide awake and debating going to mr t soon while its early, its a massive extra store so I usually try to avoid at weekends as its so busy. I should be using my free delivery code but there were no slots for today and the kids are complaining , we have no squash/fruit juice/fizzy to drink no naughty snacks and crisps and not much fruit (they are not so bothered about that though to tell the truth!).
I have given up alcohol for the moment again, not sure if I will drink at the 40th tonight yet, but have Definatly saved some money even in one week, plus have lost a tiny bit of weight. I would love to not drink forever , but I do love wine.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I think we may be twins. I too have a penchant for primani pjs and fluffy bed socks. I hate cold feet.:) The dress is only £10. I will try on the one in the wardrobe and see if the one in the shop is still there when I go into town later today.
I gave up drinking wine for a year last year whilst being healthy but have started drinking a glass a couple of nights a week again. I really didn't miss it when being healthy but now that I am drinking a little again want it most nights and have to resist and have chocolate instead:)Jan 2013-£140,231.65

Hi fothers, you could always buy the £10dress then fleabay it afterwards, as its monsoon you would probably get the money back ,plus you have donated to charity
Thats interesting, I gave up for just a month last year, then had just a couple at dh's 40th party and after that went back to my usual habits. Chocolate is a possible substitute but it doesn't hit the spot in the same way :rotfl: Hmmm, I should not drink tonight.:oMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I end up eating a whole bar of really dark chocolate instead. (or like last night have the chocolate and the wine:o)Jan 2013-£140,231.65
