It's gcse results day today :eek: dd is convinced her grades will be terrible, so much so that she won't open them at school in front of friends. I am sure she has done ok, nobody could have worked harder. She went in early , left late and stayed in every lunchtime for months. She even went in everyday during the Easter holidays to revise, it does not come easy to her so she has put in a lot of extra work, I just hope she gets what she wants.

Not sure what we are doing today, I will play it by ear and see what happens with dd first I think. It's pouring with rain and I have a ton of washing to do , yesterday was perfect drying weather but its a bit awkward doing it when you have friends over, I will stick it on th heated aired so I can clear some of the back log.

Fingers crossed for dd.My dd didnt want to go and pick her A level results up.I had to but it was all good in the end:j

I have one very upset dd she got 3 c's (incl maths and English) the rest all d's .

She is devastated and needed 2 b's 4 c's to do the 4 a levels. She can still do a couple of the subjects but do btec s instead, her college enrolment is next week, so hopefully they will shed more light on it, they did say there was a possibility of doing one a level and a btec if she didn't get the grades, but she is quite a way off from what she needed.

Is so hard, she won't talk to me at the moment
