I will be so glad when these exams are over for dd, its hard here at the moment
Last night i picked 3 tiny red peppers from my bq plant and made a red pepper, chilli and tomato tagliatelle for dinner, absolutely georgeous will have to do that again.I have still not spent any of the £150 budget yet, I will later though as I am gong to get dd and ds1 a mc don's for lunch to cheer her up, ds2 is at the cinema today.
Nearly out of washing gloop so have to make some more , this week is going to be busy again this weekend has been mad, 3 parties yesterday and family over Friday, there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day. Tomorrow I promised to take mil to bluewater shopping centre in Kent, I can barely afford the petrol and toll let alone buy anything.she wants to buy perfumes to take to family in Spain when she visits, surely duty free would be cheaper? Apparently notMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Completely agree with the exams ~ my DD2 has been badly stressed over them (& coursework) for months & it's affected the whole family
She's wanting me to take her & DD1 to CP when they're all over but I'm not sure how I'm going to afford it ~ considering applying for a 0% CC, but can I be trusted with it?!

Sorry to hear your dd is is having a rough time pink poppy, roll on the end of June. I too have had a look at cp's and been looking at a thread on the holiday board with people looking for cheaper suggestions, no luck though. It's just so expensive ALL the time.
We have almost decided to book disneyland Paris for next summer as dd has always wanted to go and even staying in a disney park with tickets it's only a couple of hundred more than cp's with Nothing included.
Would your dd enjoy a caravan break, as there are some nice looking parks with spas and lots of activities which I am sure must work out a lot cheaper?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
You could stay in a youth hostel. Some are in lovely old buildings.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Yesterday went ok , open my shopping day out in Kent I spent... £1.29 on salami in JL food court :rotfl: mil bought us lunch so it was a cheap day.
I did pick up a brochure for disneyland Paris whilst there though, and I think I am going to book later today for next year :j if you book 2 days you get 2 free at the moment and it works out the same price for the whole package as it does for just a caravan with a normal company, so although not cheap it's a good deal.
We have tried to go twice before, first time when dd was about 3 , booked and paid for 2 nights and a few hours before we were due to go she was I'll, so we didn't make it. The second time we booked for all 5 of us , paid the deposit and then dh lost his overtime so we had to cancel, fingers crossed this time will not be jinxed
Back later to catch up on diaries.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

I had a good mr t shop last night, lots of yellow sticker bread, some 7p, a few salad bits reduced and lots of value stuff bought, total spend just over £33, amount left until June 10th...£65 now.
Less good on the mse front is today's spendingI have ordered dd a camcorder for college, its going to be a well done for working hard during the exams present, I thought we should reward the effort rather than whatever grades she gets as she has worked so hard, we will give it to her on the day of her last exam
I did manage to get a great deal after a few hours research online £115 , instead of the £180 at c*rrys price, plus memory cards and case from eBay which was a lot cheaper.
It doesn't end there eitherI have paid the deposit for disneyland Paris for next year :j 2 nights plus two free nights and all passes in disneyland Davy crocket ranch in their premium cabin for £1333 , its a lot but I know they will all love it.
Mortgage ops 10p a day still at the moment!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
You're now making me re-think my promise of a Pandora bracelet for DD1 if she gets a C in her science GCSE (she's only 13 and taking 1 GCSE). Perhaps I should be rewarding effort not results. Something to think about.
You'll love Disneyland Paris - we've been 3 times - stayed once inside at Cheyenne - it is more expensive but adds to the experience. You can also get the train into Paris for a daytrip right outside the gates as you may find 4 nights too long just in Disney.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Wow that's early for a gcse, hope she does well
I am sure our dd will do ok, but she is borderline with the grades she needs for her a levels and has been going in before / after school, throughout the holidays too at Easter to study, its also to send out a message to her little brothers. They are doing well at school, but to be honest find it easier and perhaps don't work like dd does. Don't want them to think they can just glide through with little effort and still get rewardedMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Yay for Disney Paris. I really want to take dd but keep putting it off. I will just book it one day.0
