Conservatory cleared  still cleaning to be done in there , but the mountains of cr*p have gone :D (plus one evil spider)

Just the whole of the rest of the house/garden/loft and log cabin to go, easy :rotfl:
Ah yes, the 'move the stuff out of the conservatory into rest of house' shuffle :D.

    Well done :T

To keep your spirits up - just think of all the interest you are saving yourself by overpaying.

£13.29 op made today, current bal now £146,096.16 really need that figure to start with £145k ASAP. :D

Off to Romford market today for the first time in years as the dressmaker has sent me to get fabric to alter dd's prom dress, granny is paying for the fabric and alterations though , which is a help at the moment.

I have family over again for a takeaway tonight, so am making our own for us again, anyone have a fab receipe for red lentil curry? There are so many online with thousands on ingredients. I might do an aubergine and a veggie curry as well, dh will have a cheaply chicken one from the frozen food shop, it will probably do us for tomorrow as well as I always make way too much.

Morning pnk poppy, I used the curry in a hurry base and it was very nice :D

Dh's at work with dd to help, so I am at a loose end with the Xbox obsessed boys. It hard enough getting them out and about when its nice and sunny let alone when it's icy like this, it's a shame they are too old for the kids club cinema I used to love taking them all there on a sat morning, full price cinema at the weekend is ridiculous now its over £10 per adult.

I have been having a bit of a wobble this morning (financially speaking) as I know its impossible to save the money we need to get the loft done in the time frame we have.

Currently its due to start work in June some time and we are £1312 short , plus the cost of a bathroom suite (they will fit in with the price if we buy it) plus a new carpet for the bedroom /stairs and landing and ideally a new bed as our old one will be a nightmare to get up there plus dd needs a new bed so she would be able to have it in her new room.

Plus all the silly little extras like blinds and paint etc. argh. :o We knew it would be seriously hard getting it all together by June, but I'm not sure if its possible to get even close.

I've just checked the 0% cc and they start charging interest in Nov this year, I really wanted that cleared before then and its currently at £3296.

    Options are:
    1. Continue living off s*d all and hope for the best :p
    2. Don't pay anything off the cc this year and transfer it to a new 0% when the time comes and deal with it next year :(
    3. sell everything we can and try and get a super cheap bathroom suite and fleabay bed (not mattress, I'm not mad :D) and just carpet the bedroom and do stairs etc. one day hopefully.
None of these options are appealing at the moment.

Oh one last whinge, its all three kids birthdays in July and due to the loft saving we have no birthday money put by and dd would love a party as she will have just finished her exams and will turn 16.

Oh final moan 2, the inlaws are coming to visit this afternoon while dh is at work.

    Oh dear :(.

I'd go for option 1 with 2 as a back up. Whilst trying to attempt 3 :rotfl:.
