Hi nto, i did a similar thing for my parents 25th anniversary in an album, its their 40th anniversary next week and they still have not added any new photos as far as I know.:D

I am very shattered tonight, I took my brother and the kids to thorpe park, the sat nav is playing up so I borrowed dad's one which took us almost through central london, it usually takes and hour and a bit but it ended up taking 2 1/2 hours each way :(
There is still stuff to iron and put away from holiday , lots to sort for dh's birthday and parents anniversary and brothers 30th next week, and I have just remembered we have 2 x kids to play for the day tomorrow.

Oh and its my 16th wedding anniversary tomorrow and I forgot :o its the first time ever , so have got nothing sorted for dh, but he has just told me he has booked a meal in a pub in the country we have never been to and asked my mum if she will babysit if I don't want dd to do it, how guilty do I feel. I have to say this is a lovely surprise , but the first time he has ever done anything like this so a bit of a shock :rotfl:

No moneysaving is going on at the moment, I have been trying to reign it in but have left dh's birthday presents to the last minute, only small gifts really but it soon adds up.

Today I've ordered balloons for dh's party, plus a cake and decorations. I now have to work out all my accounts and am a bit nervous to find out what I have spent this week

Its noisy here with a house full of 12 year old boys at the moment, when they have all gone I shall do a plan for the last 4 months for the year, I cannot believe how quickly it has flown by, and I really feel like I have only put in a 50% effort with oping, half the time being very frugal, half the time making big expensive purchases- car/centerparcs break/kitchen worktops etc.

Time for a cup of tea and a calculator - wish me luck :(

Ah, thanks everyone we had a really nice meal out, I even got a big bunch of flowers :D

Hi sss, the book is by allan carr- how to control drinking. It does seem like a book for serious alcoholics (which I am not I would like to add :p) but it is supposed to put you off wanting to drink at all, I have had 1 1/2 glasses of wine in the last few weeks, which I did'nt really even enjoy, not like me at all!
My family are to be honest quite mystified, but not willing to give it a go themselves :rotfl:

I ran out of time to do the accts yesterday and the twins have driven me to distraction this morning, but have just gone upsairs and started playing video games and are giggling away together, so I am going to start now.

I have finally done the accts this morning, its the quietest time of day here as only one gets up early :D

    Sept - Dec :

    Sept :
    £ 25 c/c
    £41 isa

    OCT: £58 hotel alton towers
    £1000 overdraft
    £25 c/c

    Nov:
    £899 c/c
    £184 isa

    Dec:
    £1083 isa

    Totals paid hopefully:

    £1000 overdraft
    £974 0% CC
    £1308 Isa
    £ 58 alton towers

    Total:£3,340

I have seriously overspent this month on dh's 40th, plus I have £1083 in the isa which went in in error, hence the £1000 overdraft as I did'nt want to draw it out again.

The xmas budget is very short on what I need and we are taking 4 kids to alton towers scarefest for one night, so will also need to allow for petrol and food. Its getting tighter!
