Mostly done now , just a couple of present to wrap once the kids go to bed. We had a nice night out last night but too much wine ! Dh feeling rough most of the day.

Today we went to the harvester for lunch, and we have had a pretty chilled out day for once. Dh has just been round the corner and bought us all scratchcards for the first time in his life and he has won £80 on one card, He says hes buying a new ps3 game and i'm trying to persuade him to let me op the rest as dec has had no op's.:D

I hope everyone has a good christmas and thanks for popping into my diary from time to time and offering support, advice and the odd telling off this year, lets hope 2012 is even more sucessful for all us mfw's.

Hope everyone had a nice christmas day, we had a lovely lunch at mums, just wish we could stay home today but we are off to the inlaws.

The kids had lots of and stuff and loved their netbooks, now I get to use my laptop whenever I like. I had lots of nice bits and pieces pj's , perfume, and my mum had a cushion made with a photo of my cat on it.:D

Can't wait to get started on the 2012 plans for being even more mse, still unsure again on getting the loft done or oping but either way I need to improve on this years op's.

Off to tidy up and put some washing on , happy boxing day!

We had a nice time at the inlaws today, we have eaten so much rich food in the last few days I am looking forward to eating a lot healthier in the new year.

DH has given me £100 that he won on a scratchcard he bought xmas eve, he went to cash it thinking it was £80 and it turned out he had missed a bit and it was £140 ! He has bought himself a game and I got the rest.

OPing it seemed a bit too boring :D , so I have decided to attempt a mini challenge instead. As we have quite a bit of food in at the moment, I thought I would see if I can live off the £100 for the whole of january. I think i will supplement this with a veg and /or box weekly paid for from my £250 Pm grocery budget which will cost £17 PW ish.

So £17 pw x 5 weeks in jan

    £100 cash

    Everything in cupboards/fridge and freezer

Over 36 days from now until jan 31st budget is about £5.13 per day for 5 plus cats and dog.

Hopefully i should be able to have around £165 left from my usual budget to op at the end of jan if I am succesful. I just think that maybe I might set up a mini challenge every month for me to focus on to make or save a bit extra.
