Hmmm good point its probably best we dont go anywhere just in case hey! Oh well hopefully fingers crossed we will either go no problem OR have a full refund and go at a later date
  • Yesterday I managed, after an 1 1//2 hour hold on the phone, to re-book flights for may 2nd with Virgin.
Had to accept a change of destination from gatwick to Manchester. As yet, I haven't received e mail confirmation - should I be concerned.

No, no, don't be concerned. I've had to rebook a few times with them and it takes a while (sometimes a couple of days) for it to come through

I'm surprised you even bothered to write that. I imagine all CEO's have much bigger issues to contend with at the moment.

I see they have applied a typically British fudge based almost certainly on money..

Apparently they now say...oh well...actually the engines can endure a greater level of ash ingestion...blah blah blah...

Well we will soon find out.

Presumably Rolls Royce will be on overtime in the next few months fixing them all !!
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
