Payments continue until the a decision on any medical is made.0

Thank you SMC!
If you are unluck enough to fail does that then mean you have arrears to repay?
Cheers,

There are no arrears to repay if you fail.0

Thank you Healy for that! I am hoping that next year I can avoid another PCA as the stress was horrendous. Still wondering if it is worth going to a regular English speaking doctor. Would you know anything about that?
Thanks again,
Marcos0 -
Unless you are exempt from the PCA you will probably have to have one when it is due, your Doctor does not have any say in that.0

Hi there Marcos. My husband has now registered with a Spanish GP as another problem has occurred with his health.
When the questionnaire came , it was in Spanish and English and the Doctor filled in the bits on the back.
We sent the questionnaire back about six weeks ago, are still waiting to hear the outcome, but apparently if my husband has to have a medical it will be with an English speaking Doctor in Malaga.
His money is still being paid.
Now that we have registered and the Doc was able to fill in the form, I would say it was definitely best if you register with a Doctor.
Hope this helps and I will keep you posted.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Thank you Healy and Seven-day-weekend for your info.
It seems that the departments that deal with IB are still VERY understaffed and overworked.
Shame Max is not around as I saw a sepecialist in the Uk last July and he wrote out a 48 page report on me, it concluded that I will not ever be fit for employment again due to my mental and physical problems.
I don't know whether it would be worth sending copies of the relevent pages of this report in with my questionaire next year?
Please Seven-day-weekend, let me know how you get on and I want to do the same for other members of this forum next year when it is my turn.
At CAB in the UK, I was told that the benefits system is a bit like the Lottery, it depends on your GP, the examiner and the assessor you get to deal with you.
Some are good and helpful whilst other are not and at time hostile towards you.
Anyway, thanks to all again, this is a great forum.

Hi seven-day-weekend!,
Take it you have no news yet abbout the returned questionaire from the doctor?
I am still wondering when my turn comes for review whether to take a copy of my medical report from the specialist highlighting my inability to undertake employment.
I have heard that the DWP have changed the rules on the PCA points, what a surprise! Pity and great shame that Max is still no on here as he may know more about this matter. As far as I know, the amount of 15 point options are reduced from 5 to only one now......On physical assessment only!
Still awaiting to hear about the mental assessment scoring...sure this is a ploy to reduce the number of claimants getting INCAP wether fully deserving or not...alll political, easy to pick on disabled than business tax fraudsters isn't it?
Will let the forum know if I find out more........
Bye for now,

This is incorrect.
At the moment the assessment is still the same.0
