Five months between receiving the ib50 and having a medical is not unusual in the north west at the moment,it took about two months when the pca was first introduced.

It was 3 months from sending form in till I had to go for medical.0

They will send you a letter to say whether you have passed the threshold or whether you have to go for a medical. If you have heard nothing, there has not yet been a decision.(AKA HRH_MUngo)
