I'm a bridezilla because I've just spent the last hour at work secretly playing with a picture for our wedding invitations on photoshop and have been pretending it's a work thing!!
Brilliant, i've been doing this too!!
saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...

I'm bridezilla cos I've entered a competition to win my wedding dress from an amazing dressmaker and I'm down to the final 5 so busy being bridezilla on facebook trying to get the most votes!

I read your story the other day on Linda's page and voted for your one! Loved it! Will you be having party rings at your reception??! Good luck, really hope you win! x

  • oooooooh lovely!!! We have our eye on a place in Taormina, but H2Bs work have now rejected his leave application (after ok'ing it verbally, someone in admin didnt sign a form in time ), so we have to wait til he gets it approved to book. He has handed in the stuff so it had better be soon! I am raging!
Its only a wee hotel so I am scared it will end up being fully booked. Pray it doesn't!

All people have to do is go to the Dresses at No.9 page on facebook (just search for it, it won't let me post the link), 'like' it and then click on the notes bit and 'like' the one titled 'Abi Thomas' - PLEASE HELP ME!! :A

Oooh the Bridezilla is rearing its ugly head again! Bridezilla moment #1, had a bit of a to-do over my hen party plans, I wasn't originally involved as it was supposed to be a surprise but got wind of the plans and didn't like the sound at all of it so made one of my friends change it all and take the blame! Moment #2, the new plans (which I now approve of!) involve going to a city where 2 of my friends live so they're not staying at the hotel with us. I know that it makes sense, why stay in a hotel when you live 10 miles away? BUT they should be there for the whole weekend, after our nice relaxing spa day they're going to have to rush back home to get changed so they'll miss out the fun-getting-ready-in-our-costumes-with-a-few-drinkies time with the rest of us and the nursing-the-hangover-and-talking-about-the-night-before breakfast. Not happy about that!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I was right. Its now fully booked. I have cried :( . It took us ages to find something we liked that we could afford, had to change our destination country and few times, and the hotel was all we could have wished for, for a honeymoon. I know it shouldn't matter, as long as we are together, and all that, but it does! i had my wee heart set on the hotel, and there is nothing nearly as nice in the same area :(

Its about £2200, for 7 nights, somewhere not too far (was intending a multi-centre hol in US to begin with, but my Mum rightly pointed out that I move 400 miles to a new house when we get back, so long-haul and jet lag probably isnt such a good idea!), bed and breakfast, somewhere with a bit of culture and a wee bit of beach maybe - but that doesn't really matter, and after the Easter weekend. We like Italian cultures, hence why we decided Sicily. We are looking for somewhere not too touristy, but with stuff to do.
And flying from London, so we can get a connection from the frozen north of Scotland!
I am not asking for much eh!

Couldn't the friends who won't be staying at the hotel get changed there anyway for the night out? They could bring a bag with their costumes to the hotel before you go to the spa.
And, if breakfast is not included in the room price you could all go to a greasy spoon-type cafe the morning after so they can join you. If it is included maybe you could meet for coffee after breakfast?
