He's almost making me want to convert!!
I wanted to ask if there was anyone else tp do the service as I read it's bad luck to see a bald man straight after the ceremony, I have to keep telling myself the rev doesn't count!!

I'm also going to start punching people who insist on asking why I'm getting married as tho it's the same as telling people I'm going to torture animals! !!!

Just woken up from my first wedding dream (must have been due to all the stuff I posted last night!) and I was a bit of a bridezilla in it... The main thing I can remember is getting really angry and upset as my OH just wanted to go sit down at the table when it was time for the meal, instead of waiting to be announced into the room as 'Mr and Mrs X'!! Oh and also (although this isn't bridezilla-y) my mum got amazingly drunk and had a go at my dad's brother, telling him that he didn't ring his mother (my nan) enough, which was a bit random! :rotfl:

What a waste of a man!! That is not meant for celibacy. :rotfl:

well I had a wee bridezilla moment yesterday. After my huff about the bridal cars I decided that we couldn't afford it and I should just stay at the hotel. When I mentioned that I was staying there to my mum she said that I should have cars and leave from home. My sister had a very small wedding with a party at home and I think she just wants to swan around in a posh car being "proper" mother of the bride. Anyway she insisted on paying for the cars.

So having chosen the cars - a 1930s Daimler for me and my dad and a mercedes limo for my mum and bridesmaids (classic car not stretch), I was waiting to book them until I got paid, so I could pay the deposit. Yesterday the car company emailed me to say they were withdrawing the mercedes from stock. They have a Daimer classic limo that I could have and will match the bridal car better but it's £100 more. Grrrr. I know I'm not paying but I don't want to hit my mum with a massive bill.

    Stomp feet smiley needed.

Remember that post I did about when I paid for that table of people I didn't know in that restaurant? You don't? Oh that's right, I didn't post that because it never happened!!!!! My list of people I have never met that are coming to the meal is getting longer!

OH actually said this week I've only got my ring and suit to sort now, he's only ever had the ring and suit to sort!!

Hearing you Lexxi. H2B is joined at the hip with his work colleagues so a whole load of them are coming to the meal - so many in fact that my work colleagues are restricted to the evening do.
