I also got through just now, and was told 4-7 days for delivery. Wonder if that means business days?0

got through and paid for mine too, happy days0

I checked what was meant by a pre-release version of Mario when paying and was told that this means that it is the US version as the UK version is not yet ready.
Not sure what is different between the US and UK versions though0 -
I managed to get straight through this morning, I can wait for it to be delivered but its going to take anything up until the end of next week. I reckon thats its a good deal overall considering that your getting the console before everyone else in the UK0

Hey! save your mudslinging for the companies, not other forum members eh?NDK49 wrote:You get 200 stars free for registering ....
Maybe so. The stars I have are from buying games.NDK49 wrote:As for useful products there have been been Cubes ....
There has been NOTHING but screensavers and wallpapers every time I have checked in for the vast majority of the last 2 years
As for the freebies, the US DS (£95 at EB folks) has the mario game, so your'e getting 2 demos and a t-shirt for the extra £35, wow. If the offer was any good it would be gone in a day. I still personally think it was a "money wasting expert" situation. Everyone's perfectly entitled to their opinion no?0 -
There is no point comparing US prices which are before tax. Here the machine will be £100 and Mario will £30 including taxes. Also take into consideration you get the machine over a month before launch, a limited edition tshirt and a limited edition demo of which only 3000 are available. As for moneysaving or wasting or whatever you are on about no body was claiming this to be the bargain of the century but just a limited time offer which would sell out quick hence it was posted in this forum. IMO it is nowhere close to being overpriced and is a very fair price considering what the UK RRP will be.
And as for your stars from games if you registered about 2 years ago you would have gotten 200 stars for registering, 1000 for registering your cube, 250 for registering just one game and loads just for logging in. More than enough for this deal.0 -
ordered mine, who gives a sh*t if theres a difference between games, just enjoy what you got and stop being such a purist0

There is some talk over the pak and what the pre-release means, On the offical Nintendo forum, here is was the admin had to say:
"Hello,
In case anyone has any confusion over the DS offer. All 3000 Nintendo DS machines in this offer are European units, covered by European warrantee. The Mario cartridge in the package is US but comes with European packaging. The packaging will also contain VIP pins which will only be valid to input into your accounts from the European launch of Nintendo DS on March 11th. If you try to enter your VIP pins from this package any earlier they will not work.
I thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Here is another update.
This is the Nintendo Forum Administrator.
Hello again,
Just to clarify some of the DS Offer details again, as it appears from some of the posts on the forums that some of you may have misunderstood information or have been misled from posts on the forums.
All DS machines are European machines (Not US machines).
The Mario game is the full game (US cartridge, European packaging).
T Shirts (one size) unfortunately no one processing the orders can give you any further information on the size.
All the DS packs are now with the processing company (Codestorm), as they arrived late yesterday. Contrary to some of the posts that have appeared on the site. There will be a short processing time, this is so all DS packs are complete and all the payments are complete, parental permission and postage details collate to what we have listed for you. Therefore, as you were probably told if you phoned to make payment, delivery was subject to processing and would be approximately 10 &*150; 14 working days. We expect the first DS packs to be arriving with you around late next week (Working week beginning 7/2/05).
I thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
