I dont think you can buy one unless you have 1000 stars, because i joined and the catalogue only showed me anything under 200 stars, is there anyway i can get more stars?Trophies are like Buses, you wait 26 years.
Then 3 come along at once!!!!0 -

To get Stars, you have to Buy a Gamecube or GBA SP (500 Stars) or a Nintendo release game eg Mario Golf, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Wario World etc. (250 Stars). You also get 5 points per day for visiting the site.0 -
Is this a good deal? I had heard that the DS's were going to be circa £150 so sounds good, especially with the game. Is Mario 64 a good game. The other 2 are demo's so probably not worth evaluating. Will they be cheaper if we wait.
My son does want a DS, he has saved enough money to buy one, also because he has a gamecube he has enough stars. We have subscribed to the stars catalogue but have not received the email.
Does anyone know if the gameboy to gamecube linkcable will work with the DS or will I have to buy another one.
So many questions???Play Up Pompey0 -
The official statement from Nintendo regarding retail price is £99 ish - see press statement below:
27 January 2005 – Nintendo DS will change the way people play video games. Through a whole set of new features, such as touch screen, voice input and wireless communication, games can be controlled by touch or voice and the system will have two screens, not one. Today at a press conference in Paris, Nintendo announced that this innovative new console will be available to buy in the UK on 11 March at the estimated retail price of around £99 and will be supported by a strong software line up. The Nintendo DS has been received exceptionally well in the US and Japan, having sold 2.8 million units by the end of 2004, and is expected to have the same response when it launches in the UK.
The advantage of this post is the guarantee of actually getting hold of one at time of release, many thanks to the original poster; my son will be very happy on his birthday....the north will rise again...0 -
Not sure if this helps anyone but Gameplay have them available to pre order here for £99

Lik sang are importing them, with the 220 volt one you should be able to charge them up directly over here, although they offer advice and chargers if you need them. There is no region locking, so you will be able to use UK games. The only difference is the WarioWare TOUCHED demo and the T-Shirt
