I'm making cupcakes for ours in 3 flavours - chocolate, vanilla and lemon. Been practicing almost none stop for the last few months, just hope I can still fit in my dress!0

I will be making my own cakes. We're having a 3 tier wedding cake with the top and bottom being fruit cake (therefore made in advance and 'fed' with brandy) and the middle tier will be a chocolate and beetroot cake. Sounds strange but it is the yummiest and moistest chocolate cake ever. Here's the recipe if you're interested

I have also bought a 7 tier cupcake stand on ebay (£24) and will be baking and icing 130 cupcakes in varying flavours (I'm thinking vanilla, lemon and two other flavours... ideas please).
I am a fanatic baker and love icing cakes too so I will relish this challenge.

just a quick note if your having fruit on the top of the lovely moist chocolate and beetroot cake be careful with how you put them out the fruit being heavier might make the middle layer sink if your planning on putting them on top of each other (believe me i know, it happened to one of my friends). you might be better putting it on a 3 tier cake stand instead.... something like this

o yeah....fruit cake on the top is never good....but if u use very strong dowels u could be ok....just dont make it too top heavy as they can tip over! xx:dance:

I'm having a 2-tier cake, £190, fruit bottom & lemon sponge top. The fruit cake has been made & is being fed in anticipation of our September wedding
