Fuzz, my midwife hasn't guesstimated weight, that's just me based on the fundal height measurements she's put on my growth chart :o Did she measure your bump at the last appointment? She's done mine at the last 2 and plotted them on the chart in my maternity notes so I've been going off that.
Yeah she measured bump at last appointment and I presume again at my next:) Will have a nosy in my book tonight in and see if I can figure out some sort of guestimation for myself:D Probs get it completely wrong but hey ho, keeps me entertained;):)

    Hi dee hi campers

Anyone else getting really bad period pains? I've BH for a week or so, but I keep thinking I am going to come on :o (totally unrelated times to the BH by the way)

Yep... more and more regular as well.

Those charts guestimating bubs weight aren't very accurate. My midwife hates them. At 24 weeks I was 3 weeks ahead then bubs went right down to bottom line now I'm back up at 2 weeks ahead:rotfl:The sonographer plotted my scan weight on there and going by that I'm looking at a 10lb er:eek:

BUT, as quite a few ladies have said in the past, they've been told they're having a giant baby and infact have had a tiddler - and vice versar:)

Do you need the glasses for 3D TV? I can just imagine loads of people all over the place with silly glasses on :rotfl:

It's a serious question, btw. I can't afford one, but I can't do 3D cinema or magic eye pics because of my mono-pd (or lazy eye! lol)

Suzy I've had those kids of dreams too quite regularly but not about anthea turner though, that must just be your thing!

It's frustrating because the real thing isn't too satisfying atm, everything seems to get *ahem* 'flooded' :o is this happening to anyone else?!

I was told titch 'felt about 5lb'.. when she waas just short of 7lb.. DS3 I was told was '5-6lb.. but nearer the 6lb' ... he was 3lb 10! I don't hold anything by their guesses of weight... they are usually WAY off what the actualy weight is IME.

    Oh right!

My eyes don't work together so I struggle even with binoculars to get a clear picture, I need to use one eye most of the time lol.

When I wear 3D glasses the image stays blurry and just keeps flicking from red to green and gives me a headache :rotfl::rotfl:

oooh that EDD list moves fast doesnt it!

I'm only 16th from the bottom now

What happens at a 16 week check up? They forgot to do one for me apparently, so I have to go in on Monday (when I'll be 18 weeks!) to meet with the midwife.

Is it just a weigh-in/general check how you're doing kind of thing?

Oh and we've still got an old fashioned tv with the HUGE back that weighs about 5 tonnes! We're so retro...I still listen to lp's too! :p

Fuzz, re: predicting babys weight in my pregga notes there's a few added in sheets with info about my scans such as measurements, etc. I am sure on all 3 of my scans it gave a weight estimate in grams, I worked this out in lbs and bubs weighed 6lbs 8 at my 36 week growth scan. Probably not massively accurate but I like to work it out :)

We've only got a flat one because OH got it 'free' with a phone contract last year.

What amazes me is that people are actually giving away 32 inch odd CRT ones on netmums that say 'from childs bedroom' ! how much money have some of these women got and how big are their kid's rooms
