Baby day today.. so next time i am here.. I shouldn't be!!

Apologies to everyone I have queue jumped.. but we need out..

Oh's mum coming to 'look after OH' while I am not here.. I think she is going home before I get home though (Friday most likely.. though I am aiming for tomorrow!.. I will depend greatly on the baby's blood levels.. not mine ..).. but OH can mother hen me with the champions lol

If he faints I SWEAR I am photographing him laid on the floor and putting it on facebook!!! He knows this as well!! lol

I am REALLY REALLY scared.. I want to change my mind about having the baby entirely now.. and I won't admit that to anyone else!

TigTag - I've just come back from Eurodisney - you'll have a wicked time! Please be wary of the guidebooks that tell you can do the 1st part of Tower of Terror (well that part is true) but DO NOT get in the elevator with seat belt part which is on 1st floor!!! Told the man I was pregnant, and he informed me I could do that part and just tell the person at the top that I had to get out....wrong! I ended up doing that ride 27wks pregnant after just coming out of hospital that week from suffering from heavy blood loss!! Idiots.....pleased to say I and baby survived :eek: And that was after I'd avoided even the bloody tea cups and saucers!!

Morning all

Ugh, hard work getting out of bed this morning! I could do with another day off but there's an important meeting in London this morning and boss especially asked me to go as he can't and his boss also can't. So going to score some brownie points by going, but said I'm coming home to work this aft as it's less travel. It's also DH's birthday and as he's still in bed and I'll be off soon it means I can give him his presents a bit earlier.

Re Giselle - up hers I say, she seems to be most bothered that it let her keep her figure anyway, not that it was best for the baby. I am really hoping to BF and will be so gutted if I can't, but I know from my sister that it's not always simple. krystaltips - where would I find the support group info...google I guess!

Pigpen - thinking of you today, make sure you text me!!

I also wondered where smartie is!

Gem - i think you're right, I'm sure my time left at work will go quickly...feels like this week is on it's way out already!

sir monster -only 3 days to get through, hope journey not too bad today.

I have a cervix scan at 1pm today to check it's viability and if I need a stitch.

I'm dreading it.

Thanks Xmas. I think it involves the dreaded dildo wand (last time I had that was during my mc ).

They need to check my cervix length and see if it's 'viable' to carry my pregnancy.

If not, I will have to have a stitch put in to hold it closed.

More prodding and poking...sigh.

Good luck PP and MV today, yeah I wonder if Smartie is having mummy cuddles!!

Rach to be honest the morning commute isn't that bad for me as tend to wait for the bus which is a lot quieter than getting the tram and is school holidays seem to be OK getting a seat on the train, in a way as I go with DH will kind of miss that time together. It is the commute home that I have been struggling with even though hasn't been that hot I get home sweating in places I didn't know I could sweat!! Hope your commute isn't too bad today.

Anyone got any recommendations for bad skin during pregnancy? I have had terrible spots all the way through, and this week they've got worse I don't even wana leave the house today
