My friend has one of those cars delain and they like it.

I'd love to have no car, but it is useful occasionally and as we'd not get anything for it and the running costs are low we keep hold of it. We park about 5 mins away at the in laws and so often it's just as easier to hop on a bus as we're on 3 main bus routes.

Having said that I'm popping out soon in the car, have managed to combine 2 netmums pickups and will go and get DH a present first and pick up some cash too. Guess I should shower and go really. I just want to hibernate but it's silly to cancel things when I am at home.

That's good about the Netmums :T I keep meaning to check ours to see if anything comes up!

Oh and feeling rough isn't skiving, so don't beat yourself up, you will only feel worse for it :)

The car will come in pretty useful when you have a baby trust me... much easier than catching a bus to the doctor's in the pouring rain with a screamy baby who isn't well and judgemental old people glaring at you because the baby won't stop crying! Been there, done that ;)

I was hoping the tesco vouchers would come today but no such luck. I'm hoping to double them up to ge something nice for little monster like one of hose bouncer chairs.

I can't wait to pass my driving test and get a car, so many things will get easier... We'll be able to go out for the day and not spend most of it traveling... Eg, we're going to the zoo on Monday, it's going to take about 90mins to get there from here whereas if we had a car it would probably take 15-20... There's also so many lovely places we'd like to take the girls that you just can't get a bus to...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My house is just over 2 miles from tesco as the crow flies... On the (once hourly) bus from our village it takes 50 minutes to get there

Admittedly you can get there faster by changing buses then walking the last half mile (mission. especially with little ones) but it takes 10-15 minutes in the car and you don't have to wait an hour if you leave 1 minute too late :rotfl:
