Thanks Xmas I really don't know what to think. OH wants to phone MW to ask her advise but I don't wana waste her time! The back pain is getting worse but I really cannot time the pains/ contractions. My belly is solid but it's hard to work out what it starts and stops as it's pretty constant. I also feel incredibly sick and haven't eaten for hours. Even struggling to drink! I just don't wana phone MW and it turn out to be trapped wind or something!

Kitkat it may be worth pointing out to your OH that sleep before the event will be best and that youd like some cuddles before everything starts in ernest. Enjoy what may be the last night of peace and quiet for a while.;)

    Hi all
Im completely new to this forum, but having a read through and its been so so useful!! Im 32 weeks pregnant and finishing work in 2 weeks time and need to try and get baby stuff sorted. I thought this site may be useful as i start buying all the bits and pieces i need!!
This is my first due on 27/9/10 and im having an eventful pregnancy so far, Morning sickness until 18 weeks, diagnosed with SPD at 20 weeks, been on crutches coz of severe pelvic pain and havent slept for more that 2 hours at a time for the last 2 weeks, and for the last 4 days my morning sickness seems to have come back!! - is this normal??

looking forward to lots of baby talk xx
welcome Gems. I am due just after you (2nd oct) and my morning sickness has come back a bit too...it's not really in the morning, never was early on either, more at teatime and in the evening!

kitkat - how exciting, hope you get a good rest tonight and look forward to some news!

I hate going to bed on a Sunday night, means the weekend is over :( I need to go and make DH some rolls for tomorrow and then I'm ready for my bed!

It doesnt sound like trapped wind chick take some paracetamol like krystal suggested and see if you can get some rest. You could be feeling sick due to not eating could you try and eat something light that you can nibble at a tiny bit at a time. I certainly wouldnt worry about calling the midwife thats what they are there for if you dont want to disturb her this late try the labour ward they will advise you what to do and more than likely will tell you to rest and take tablets.

Well I'm still here! Unsure what's happening, decided to see how things progress (if at all) and ring MW if it gets worse. Still having pains in my belly and back, been really restless walking around lots, slumped over chair, etc. Pain lessens then gets worse but i can still talk fine. Not sure if it's just false alarm but it's been going on since 6-7pm so quite a while. Guna go to bed now and see if anything happens. Will defo be disappointed if it's false alarm!

Kitkat after I was given the Prostin gel to set me off, the first signs that something was happening was period type pains, stomach cramps and back pain which got gradually worse and worse. After they broke my waters they pains got stronger and stronger. I have no idea how it compares to going into labour normally though, so I might be talking rubbish!

KitKat, my waters didn't break until my dd was on her way out, (labour suite was like a swimming pool, by the time i'd finished...sorry if tmi). Sounds to me like you're in labour, i hung on and on as i didn't beleive my baby was ever coming-(11 days late) but the pains became regular. Sending big labour vibes to you and hope everything goes well, you may even be holding baby as i type this...hope so :-)
