Hi Ladies from a 8 week PG lady I am de Lurking from the less than 12 week board with a question.

Some of you may remember me I had a MMC in January and we have found ourselves PG again. As you can understand I am scared to death and spent a lot of the time pretending that it is not happening.:o

So we had an early private scan I couldn't watch but DH said all was ok & a heartbeat was found that was at 6weeks 5/6 days. So Last wednesday I started having brown discharge and have had it on & off since then the MW didn't seem bothered and the earliest I could have a scan is tomorrow at 8.30am. It is also my B'day tomorrow and I am more scared than EVER.

I have read loads of stuff which says it is either fine as no cramping etc or that it is the start of a MC???

I am so scared and confussed and don't know what I will do if this happens again.:(

Advice please ladies. THANK YOU :A
If you can think it........it will happen

Only stop worrying, Tinks and I'm not sure you could follow that advice just now!

They do say a watched pot never boils, go out and do something to take your mind off clock watching and counting down until your scan!

I am sure everything will be fine for you this time :) Oh maybe a little tmi but sex can cause spotting, it's called cervical erosion, as my GP pointed out to me when I ran in there in a panic with my first.

Welcome to all the newbies (must be the sunshine that pushes you all over from the sub 12 week! LOL)

In a better mood today, thanks to everyone for the messages. I think I was overtired..... got in a mood last night because i asked DH to rub my calves and he said he was tired...... so I just took myself off upstairs and sat rocking myself on the bed in a buddha pose to calm crazy baby down.... it worked and about half hour later DH came up to apologise.....

Been in to town today with my parents before they journey back. I only needed bananas and bin bags but I've come home with those, and more baby hangers, new pet blanket for dogs bed, and some new maternity clothes YAY!
Well not technically maternity (apart from some leggings from peacocks) but some loose dresses from Primark (2 of which were £1!), but all the clothes my mum paid for.

She seems convinced the reason I dont go out much is because ive got no decent clothes that fit.... and thats a small part of it some days but I did try to tell her its mainly because im lazy! But this lot is easily going to last me till end of pregnancy, and got some summery bits for when Im bigger and suffering with the heat.....

Might make some salt dough this afternoon if it rains, like its threatening to......

Tinks - Could be implantation bleeding, or could just something un pregnancy related. I for example have an ovarian cyst, which is filled with blood, and that split, so i leaked brown blood, and that was at 7 weeks, and i'd had mmc before as well....so it could just be something like that....

Just take it easy as much as you can, nothing strenuous, and limit yourself to the number of times a day you can check your knickers.... I was terrible, every 5 minutes nipping to the loo!

Big hugs to you though xx

    oh and Xmas.....

Arent you a lucky lady, getting malteasers from the fairies....

I dont think midwives encourage administering EPO that way.... would probably have a lot more pregnant women taking it if they did though!

tinks I have no advice but wishing you well and lets all just hope its implantation and old blood. Try and relax though i know that's a ridiculous thing to say.

well, I decided to eat some thorntons toffee chocs that we had left from Christmas...don't touch them with a bargepole ladies...they were very hard and a chunk has just broken off one of my back teeth. :( can't believe it. Obviously my teeth have been more compromised than I thought by the pregnancy...I have a lot of fillings anyway for now known reason as I've always cared well for my teeth. I can go to the dentist tomorrow at 5pm so hopeuflly it won't hurt before then and she can file it or something.
