I got mine from the works... It came with webbing and a fitness DVD for about £8.... But I'm sure they had cheaper ones on their own... No pump though... My uncle blew mine up with his compressor...

I've been crippled by heartburn all day :(
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Congrats 1more

Forgot I got a ball, just inflated it and been on it - is quite comfy. Mine was a Davina one from Argos, was £10 has a pump, pilates bands and some exercises to do which will help to tone up after bubs comes.

Heya, Just to let you know had a proper chat with my manager today. She appologised for her reaction yesterday but said it was quite a shock. She has spoken to HR and I';m fine to carry on with my job. I have also worked out I will only be on mat leave a couple of months so that should cheer her up a bit. She is also aware I may need more then average medical appts for being "high risk pg"

    Congrats 1more.

Good news OTE, hope it has helped ease your mind :0)
  • congrats 1more :T

well this evening we did a 'trial run' with the birth pool, not that i had much to do with it, DH pumped it up and filled it, then we both got in and had a bath, then he emptied it and used the water to wash both the cars in the middle of a thunderstorm!!

can't wait to use it during labour now, think it will be so calming. and v MSE as my friend is lending it to me!

same emsy! smugness definitely wiped off my face now. replaced by lard. hehe.
  • by the way quick question: has anyone heard of the new 'Boppy' pillow and is anyone planning on buying one? We have got one for free as DH is a member of this thing where if you blog about stuff you get sent it free AND paid to blog about it. But we might try and sell it. Just don't know if anyone is actually buying them as they are new on the market??

    This is what they are:

I got a pillow from Woolies that does this, but also you use it as a body pillow to get comfy at night, and then you can use it for nursing as well. Obviously I haven't got to the nursing bit yet but it's comfy for sleeping with (but takes up an awful lot of the bed!)
