hey all, loving the 'how we met' stories - cant believe how many online/holiday romances there are - have to add one in as me and OH met in sydney, oz while travelling...

still no sign of the baby coming, but got up to pee last night and when i wiped there was blood on the tissue - it was pink, but I think only coz it had been diluted by the pee. Got a bit excited then realised there was no discharge or anything. Next time I went to loo, I could see it was just blood on the tissue - not a lot, just a couple of drops but now I'm stating to worry. Having said that, there's nothing now and there was nothing on my knickers either - left a message on the community midwife office phone to call me - my midwife is on holiday the next 2 weeks. Anyone had anything similar before with previous littlies? No other signs of anything and baby still moving away merrily but its hard not to be anxious.

pigpen your bump looks great and have to agree with someone else - love the bracelets! i dont mind you going ahead of me, but hoping you hold out til the 26th if poss....

hope all goes well for smartie today...

I am trying to work out what to do about work next Monday. I’m meant to be running a training day, but it’s on my own and hard work, and includes a walk which I can’t lead and can’t seem to find anyone else to lead for me. I’ve only got a small number (5 I think) booked in, but I’ve cancelled once already. I just don’t know that I’m up to running a 5 hour training day on my own, small group makes it harder in a way! Wonder if I can just offer to go and do the training individually with the people who have said they can come or if that’s worse.

I have a risk assessment and it states on it that I wouldn't be training alone anymore (yeah right!!), but could you speak with your boss and ask them to update or do a risk assessment as it would highlight things like this. . .

sir monster, good idea in theory but my boss is useless with the risk assessment. I filled it in and gave it to him to finish, he just put it back in my pigeonhole with a couple of comments on and said he didn't know who to send it to! I said it was up to him to find out not me but it just got returned to me! I can't be bothered to chase it to be honest. All i got wanted out of it was some working from home as there's something about if your journey is a problem..

management here is pretty non existent...

I have a wedding coming up in about 6 weeks - I've just bought a fab black and white dress from Pumpkin Patch (the Manchester Arndale branch, but I think you can also get it online) - it was reduced from £30 to £8! Worth a look if there's one near you...

Sorry!! 27th then! (Is that what you were hoping for?)

Midwife just been round, blood probably part of show, head wedged against cervix, reckons the sweep (booked for tomorrow am) has a 50% chance of putting me in labour :j

labour/stay put vibes as needed xx

no.. this Saturday would be nice.. or Monday the 19th.. so then we would have birthdays 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th... all exactly 1 weeks apart!! Other than that I don't care so long as it isn't the 26th!

I don't feel far on enough to be having this baby yet I had already had 3 of them by this point!!
