    hey ladies :D

sir monster great idea i wish i could see your OHs face when he opens the grannies folder :rotfl: my OH doesnt have a laptop/computer of his own and ive never found a "stash" but i know he's bound to have some somewhere and to be honest it doesnt annoy me BUT if i saw it now id be raging purely because im a bit of an elephant at the moment :(

word of advice never ever get your bikini line waxed whilst pregnant OUCH  its never hurt like that before, i dont know if its me being extra sensitive or maybe because id let it grow like the amazon beforehand. although i do feel much better now ive had it done and quite proud that i stuck out the pain :rotfl: i was about to ask her to stop halfway through, but i thought if i cant stick this then how the hell am i gonna push a baby out my foof :o

got my 29 wk appointment tomorrow so quiet nervous about getting bloods taken :( wondering what else they will do, a friend told me they try and guestimate the weight which will be interseting i suppose. so ive got my notes packed in my bag already so i dont forget them. i was in for an ermergency appointment last week and they turned some lady away from admissions as she hadnt brought her notes  im sorry but if i thought something was wrong with baby its quiet easy to forget them! i couldnt believe they refused to see her until she went and got them.

what is everyone's local Next store like? i went into the one in town today(its massive) and the selsction of matenity wear was dreadful!!

*hates BILL and Ted pushchairs.. *

Emsy.. glad all is looking good.. even if a little large lol... mine is just a long snakey baby.

Birdie.. next stores here are rubbish.. we have 3 fairly large ones and the range in them is naff.. one of them only has childrens clothes up to age 10.. and then nothing until ladies/mens sizes! and no maternity at all!! And I woudn't have my bikini line waxed if I wasn't pregnant so I sure as heck ain't getting it out when I am.. I can't see it.. so all is good!

Oh, and my consultant? Fit. Seriously. In a very sexy, (not sure that word will get past filter :rotfl: ) suave, confident, re-assuring way.

Why oh why does he have to see my bits and bobs.:doh::doh:

Well done Emsy for getting all that done :T

Remember I was going to Tesco? Well I went and got my new half price bedding and I'm very happy with it. Now I just need to sort my room out before I get it on the bed, because my room looks like an explosion in an oxfam shop :o

Although the bedding was nice, it took me two hours to get home!

A bus had broken down so I had to wait for the next one next to a busy dual carriageway in baking heat (hourly service) then we had a bus driver who'd been roped in to doing our weird route with no map because someone went home sick and he didn't know where he was going I ended up directing him about the place and going past my stop and having to walk back because I didn't want to feel responsible for him getting lost :rotfl:

It is a nightmare here though. It's a village that pretty much doubled in size in the 70's so bits of it all look the same, it was months before I braved trying to find Londis when I moved here :o

Pigpen are you feeling better today?

Congrats whoever was on team pink :T

Oh and sir monster go you!

Nope, baby was ok for their dates at 10 & 12 weeks..........growth spurts now!! Every measurement waaaaaaaaaaay above 95th centile. :D

Ready for jealousy then........had 10 scans, 3 more to go (at least! :D )

I, however, am less excited than you by them LOL feel like I have been run over when they are "over-zealous"

Hello there - I'm hoping someone can make me feel better :-)

I'm diabetic, so have had a couple of ante-natal classes now where the midwives have told us all about the "best" ways to give birth, minimise discomfort in labour etc - but each time said "this doesn't apply to you" to me. So today I sat down with the diabetes/ante-natal people I see at the hospital and asked if I have any birth options at all...
They've basically told me that, due to the baby likely to be big, I will need to have either induction at 38 weeks or a c-section. For both I'm going to be on 2 drips (glucose and insulin), plus an epidural (for c-section at least). I hate needles, but have had to learn to deal with them during pregnancy, but the thought of having so many, plus potentially major surgery (c-section), not to mention the worry of the baby being poorly/taken straight into special care is making me stress out in a big way. I honestly think that if I'd known about all this beforehand I might have thought twice about getting pregnant in the first place...

Can anyone tell me anything positive about c-sections etc to help me deal with this?

pigpen i had to get it done lol i cant see it at all, and it was sooooo bad it was doing my head in normally i would just whack away with the razor if i cant be annoyed getting a wax but i thought a razor with my limited vision may have been a dangerous thing!!

Today I have been told I likely have gestational diabetes, so I have some very limited understanding of your concerns :(

DD was born by c/s, and I am pregnant again, so jsut remember that for every horror story you hear, there are plenty of us that go through it more than once!

    Cue Pigpen...............:D
