Glad to hear all is well :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Delain – when I pregnant with DD1 I would eat mash till the cows came home, mashed potato, carrot and swede mash, mashed sweet potato with honey etc. I think pregnancy is a funny thing and you may well just be craving sugar and calcium at the mo.
OnTheEdge – If I’d had enough money when DD1 was born I’d have bought a phil and ted. Now I am going to just bite the bullet and buy one from ebay :D as they are so useful for 2!
    Pigpen- Burping his worm........lmfao :D
Smartie – glad to hear that bump is wiggling again.

    hello all

Had a busy day at work today too many junior colleagues needing advice which is fine normally but when I am tired and have my own stuff to finish up and they cant just follow instructions and ask 9 million questions I then get snappy mind you that didnt seem to take offence and did eventually save up their questions rather than coming into my office every 5 seconds!

some of my colleagues from a different service but share the building brought me a lovely 5 piece neutral coloured baby set in 0-3mths today with a good luck card as they didnt know if they would see me again before I finish in 2wks time, which was rather unexpected and lovely of them.

Got my leaving to go on mat leave lunch next week

Waterbirth/using birth pool... should I get myself a tankini top to wear if my plans to use the pool happen??? Don't fancy being totally naked:o

Will a tshirt do? But a tankini top would be easier to dry after - yes?

I've had a search online for a cheapish maternity tankini but can't find one. Don't intend to go swimming (just can't be bothered even though I know it'll be good for me:o) so just the top would be fine.

Those who have had/are planning to... what are you going to wear, if infact you are going to wear anything?

All the vests I have are quite small and don't even cover my boobs... although I did discover one the other day I didn't even know I had so I'll see how that fits:)

Smartie if you have a primark near you strappy vest tops are £1 and are long ones I have brought some in a size bigger and then 2 sizes bigger and yeah they havent been brillant quality - thread came undone on most hems after one wash but the wash well and much cheaper than maternity ones and I didnt have to have twin packs with colours I dont like. Also they have the wider strap vest tops ribbed ones for £1.50 again I did the same as with the strappy ones. Have been fab for work clean one every day cheap and cheerful!!

If you really want one you shouldnt need a Maternity tankini anyone will do all it needs to cover is your breasticles i have one to use got it from tesco but i think most places do a pick and mix range now where you can just get a top if you want. As other have said a vest top or tshirt will be equally as good :-)

PS i just thought dont buy white it will go see through in the pool ;-)

  • Hey girls how are you all doing? For all those wondering about phil and teds WHY ARE SO WORTH IT!!! I bought one at around 6 months pregnant with the help of my mum who helped me buy it new with all the bits... but there are tons on ebay for cheaper and in great condition. I got the sports one as its a bit more nifty than the vibe. I have been using it as a single pram single for my 2 year old son... and have occassionally used the doubles seat for my friends toddlers. And omg its ace, I so cant wait to get baby in there and my DS. I love it lol.

Almost 36 weeks now... getting closer :)

Sooooooooo, interesting day a la hospital!

Had scan, all good, except sonographer pointed out baby v.v.v big for dates.....this I knew :D

    Consultant highlights:
    1. baby big for dates :D
    2. Water birth ok hurrah :D
    3. going to be scanned every 3 weeks between now and end to keep eye on size...
    4. he asked if I was a nurse/midwife as I seemed to understand what he was talking about :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: pointed out I used to be a vet nurse LOL
    5. OMG most important! he says I will have membrane sweep at 37 weeks, and one way or another this baby is coming out early/mid October, NOT in fact the 8th November :eek::eek::eek: Nowt like skipping the queue!!

Bloods-NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! LOL I am having them all, inc GTT on 17th August, so didn't have to have them done today :D
